Just curious what about them makes them FF3 only?

Greasemonkey is made for FireFox.

He means why don't they work with Firefox 2.

I agree, I'm wondering too. They are made for Greasemonkey, which works with both FF2 and FF3, so I don't know what he's doing that would make a script only work with FF3.

We're just writing bits of Javascript to modify the pages after they load. There's not really much to it. Some basic knowledge in Javascript & HTML is all that's required.

A decent link for anyone interested: http://diveintogreasemonkey.org/toc/

Okay, quick question (I hope). Which program is he using when editing the scripts? I can't seem to find it anywhere. The link to the vid is here: http://diveintogreasemonkey.org/videos/live-editing.html

Better question...why would anyone still be using FF2?

I'm not sure, but I use Notepad Plus (Notepad ++). That works very well.

I've been searching the web for the differences between Firefox 2 and 3, but I'm finding little information. Anyone have any working knowledge with the two that would prevent someone from upgrading to 3? Seems like most of the greasemonkies here are still using 2 which makes me leary to upgrade to 3.

This is sweet indeed thanks!

Although I do have a request, for the SA totals, it only is worth while to know the true SP value, rather than the total sum of the numbers. Is there any way to modify that?

Also, it would be a little quicker to have the totals by columns for the attributes since a lot of positions have no use for the 2nd group, so segregating the numbers that way would also be a potential big enhancement.

I've got a question. Would it be possible to create a script that would show the amount of plays a player lined up for at a specific position and what happened when he played at that position?

example - Linebacker that started LOLB but backed up ROLB and MLB. Would it be possible to do a script that showed how he handled playing each position (ie tackles, hurries, etc)?

Thank you.

EDIT: Posted in the other forum for Requests.

Firefox 3 is great. But I don't really see the differences, though. The visual is updated (looks great) and the adress-line or whatever you call it, is doesn't just search URL's now, it searches site titles and stuff too, great tweak once you get's used to it.

And if the scripts works in FF2, it'll work in FF3 too (I guess).

Has anybody modified the script for forum posts to be 12 hour clock version? The one in the script forum still seems to have no effect, but the local time 24 hour clock works fine.

Maybe I'm missing it on the front page, but would anyone be interested in writing a script to put a button on the player page that will put a player link, attributes, and SA's into the clipboard for pasting into a forum entry? I don't know if that is too complicated or even possible to do. Thanks in advance if anyone is able to tackle (no pun intended) this project.

Is it possible?

+1

...and I'll add a request that is probably impossible, but I put it in the suggestion forum about a month ago and it didn't get any attention:

All-time team records (all-time individual leaders [game and season], longest FG, longest run, longest pass, etc).

Even something that just does all-time team leaders would be amazing.

that's not exactly what i'm asking about.

i want to know if on this page:
http://goallineblitz.com/game/team_player_stats.pl?team_id=8

...we can have the player's position listed next to his name...especially on defense and receiving
