If TB is so dominate why isn't he leading the league in rushing

Because the one guy ahead of him has 100 more carries than Tea. Tea has 500 more receiving yards than that guy and leads SA Pro in TDs. Tea is the total yardage leader in all SA Pro, and the TD leader. What more do you want?

Thanks for having me look that up...I like to inform the public.

Baggins has three fumbles, other guy only has one, despite more carries. Ball security, all the dominate backs have it.

And if you're going to make the argument, as you seem to be, that TB is better because he averages more per carry, then you have to explain why Tony Driver gets about three yards more per carry. AND doesn't have ANY fumbles.

And TD's are the most important. Tea only has 1 fumble lost this season and double the amount of touches that guy you are referencing. I will take the TD's thank you.

I'm not going to weigh in on who's the better RB, but fumbles is the only stat that matters when discussing a RB's inability to hold on to the ball. You don't get a free pass on a fumble just because it bounced to a lineman.

Exactly, not when discussing how good a running back is overall. When looking at the overall picture you want to look at all the stats.

In the year of the Power Back Tea reigns supreme.

I've been reading this thread forever so I decided to do some math.
In losses this season (Not scrimmages obviously), Tea Baggins has a very respectable 4.33 ypc average on 139 carries (About 600 Yards).
I'd take that any day.
In wins this season (Not scrimmages obviously), Tea Baggins has a 10 ypc average on 228 carries (2279.5 Yards)
Take away his game against a gutted team and his numbers are a little different.
In wins this season (No gutted team), Tea Baggins has a 6.83 ypc average in wins on 177 carries (1210 Yards)
So take away the gutted team game. Tea Baggins has an average of 6.14 YPC this season.

I'll take that on my team please.

I had a feeling you'd use the gutted game whoring as a chance for you to say TB is still on top. If not for that game, you wouldn't be in the Top 5 in rushing this season in SAPro.

Actually, take that game away from just him and he would still be 2nd in Zeta in rushing and 5th overall in SA Pro.

But to be fair, since Tea isn't the only one who played gutted teams, take away every other running back's top game against a gutted squad and he would be 2nd in Zeta in rushing and 2nd overall in SA Pro. 2nd only to a Power Back in both cases.

So yes, he would be in the Top 5.
