Just curious, is the Dynasty at or near the top for SOS? All 6 (7 in a couple hours) opponents are in your top ten.

That's really cool; thanks for doing that. We need a rankings chart.

BMD is #3, I'm still tweeking things, as I'm not completely happy with this yet. But figured we could get a draft up to spark discussion and hopefully someone can point out some things I've missed.

If anyone in the East is interested in getting themselves added to the rankings faster here is something you can do to help.

Send me a PM with your team name as the subject, then list your schedule in order. No dates, scores ect... just the names of your team in order. Entering the schedules takes the most time out of all of this.

I hear ya about the tough Squirrels schedule. It's only getting tougher, too.
Glad to see our name at the top of the list, at least for this week.

EDIT: Thanks for putting this together!

anyone know how to watch the games live? a guy on my other team has the links to our games, but i cant figure out how to get that link for my team

Link

They can't be seen live, they have to be viewed with the play-by-play function in the recap. Sorry.

OK, time to find out if we stayed within 70 of the Breakers.

nope, thats not true. he says you can refresh and a few plays at a time will come up, and another guy confirmed it

Really? I'd like to know that too then.

Or, in the case of my team, maybe not.

Good game Breakers. I'm running out of creative ways to describe our suckiness. On the plus side, we did get our first double-digit-level guy.

The Farkistan Squirrels would like to thank the Killer Rabbits for a tough, hard-fought game. You were our biggest challenge so far, and wish you the best of luck in the future.

That being said, we're happy to get our 7th win and move up with the Austin Breakers to be the two remaining undefeated teams.

Bring on the Alcoholics. Rivalry game!

To watch the play by play as it happens you have to find the game id number.

1. Go to the play by play for your last game, change the game id # by 1 in the URL of your browser. EX. Change http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=21946&mode=pbp
to http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=21947&mode=pbp
This might bring up your opponents next game instead. If it does, try going to your upcoming opponents last game instead and adding to that id #.

You might have to keep at it to find the game you want.

2. About 30 minutes before gametime open the link and keep hitting F5 to refresh.

Here are the id #'s to the Vikings next 8 games.

Malibu-22028 Whodats-22011 Big Money-21990 DLFGods-21965 Chupacabras-22044

Oakland-22053 Squirrels-22058 Killer Rabbits-22059

Still looking for Texas

Thanks Baustin, that's good to know.

Here, I'll hook a fellow Texas guy up.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=22010

(It was one up from your opponent's last game id-wise.)

Here are the week 7 rankings for the Western Conference. An adjustment has been made to the rankings, giving more weight to the record of the team, in turn lowering the effect of SOS. Still no rankings for the East as I have yet to receive any schedules in my inbox, and won’t have time to enter them myself until either tonight or Sunday.

#1 - Farkistan Squirrels (7-0 Rank 28.60, last Week #1)

The Squirrels maintain their status as the best in the west with a convincing win over a tough bunch of Killer Rabbits. Another tough match up is on the horizon as the once defeated Austin Alcoholics are up this week.

#2 - Austin Breakers (7-0 Rank 27.33, last week #2)

No movement in the top 2, as the Breakers run up the score on the Big Money Dynasty. Austin should be feeling plenty confident as the next game on the schedule is against the #15 ranked DFL Gods.

#3 - LA Chupacabras (6-1 Rank 25.23, last week #4)

A Big win against the previously undefeated Atlanta Ducks jumps the Chupacabras up 1 spot. LA looks to continue their run at the top against the Visalia Paraplegics this week.

#4 - Atlanta Ducks (6-1 Rank 24.86, last week #3)

Was the loss against LA a fluke, or are the 6 wins a product of having the 4th easiest SOS. The Ducks look to rebound against a reeling Oakland Nation this week.

#5 - Austin Alcoholics (6-1 Rank 22.27, last week #6)

Austin took advantage of Oakland’s red zone woes to grind out a victory and move up a spot. They have a chance to prove they belong among the league elite this week against Farkinstan.

#6 - Texas Two Step (4-3 Rank 19.28 last week #7)

The 1st team to buck their record in the rankings, Texas rides a superior strength of schedule to stay ahead of Visalia. The 12th Ranked Whodat’s are next up on Texas’ dance card.

#7 - Visalia Paraplegics (5-2 Rank 18.42 last week #10)

The Paraplegics continue to get no respect in the rankings, even with the increased weight given to win/loss record. Visalia gets a chance to prove they are for real against LA this week.

#8 - Anchorage Vikings (3-4 rank 17.88 last week #5)

The Vikings take a big fall this week, due both to the formula change and a tough loss to the lower ranked Tarheels. The Mels should provide some relief this week, however another loss will send them tumbling.

#9 - Killer Rabbits (4-3 rank 17.18 last week #9)

A tough loss to Fark causes the Rabbits to drop in the standings, but not in the rankings. The Rabbits must get by the Tarheels this week to regain momentum and maintain their ranking.

#10 – Oakland Nation (3-4 rank 16.57 last week #8)

Yet another loss has the Nation barely hanging in the top 10. The Nation get no relief this week as their run of games vs. top ranked teams continues with the Ducks.

#11 Texas Tarheels (2-5 rank 12.98 last week 11)
#12 Washington State Whodat's (1-6 rank 11.91 last week 14)
#13 Big Money Dynasty (1-6 rank 10.43 last week 12)
#14 Malibu Mels (1-6 rank 9.87 last week 13)
#15 DFL Gods (0-7 rank 7.80 last week 15)
#16 San Diego Aztecs (0-7 rank 4.31 last week 16)

brick,

I really like your power rankings.

Keep these coming man, they are probably one of the coolest things to read on the forum in my opinion.
