You're wrong. As far as the game goes, the cash is the resources.

Seriously, you can shout it to the world, but the precedent has been set repeatedly. Even the mods in this thread who commented have said he's doing NOTHING wrong.

As long as he doesn't touch the cash, it's not considered gutting. And as long as the players are all going to the same team, it's not collusion or anything else of that ilk.

Where have you been for the last three seasons? This happens all the time in exactly the same way..

any owner worth his salt will admit that the cash in the game isn't all that valuable.

players are the real asset.

Shagg didn't inherit the players. He recruited them all on his own.

Like I said: if you don't like it, bitching at SHagg really isn't going to change anything.

Ethics went out the door in USA Pro a loooooooong time ago.

Technically money is a teams resource so he didn't do anything at all that was illegal.
Shit if i sold my team i know for damn sure i would let everyone go before i take my chances having some of them play for a coach that probably has 0 experience since i have seen multiple people have a fun fucking time trying to get off the team which isn't exactly what they signed up for.

But the right thing to do is to finish this season. He should sign everyone to contracts that will end on the day 40 of this season. C'mon quitting is not a football... It's unfootball. And the other thing is that he should just give the new owner a lil' shot to compete. He is quitter, but it doesn't mean that the new owner will be a quitter. He should give a chance for a new guy or at least finish season by himself. Now he is giving easy wins to the rest of teams in his schedule and probably someone will lose playoff berth because of this situation(where every win and lose is important).

As Lombardi said: Winners never quit and quitters never win... Shagg, you are a quitter now, so you won't win any title with a new team, but I wish you luck. You will need it.

Ok...... Why should some guy that hasnt spent a minute recruiting for a team wake up to find himself wth a team that is fully built with all players being lvl 25+. I know how long it takes to build a team, me and shagg spent hours recruiting to try to get some of these guys.whoever gets the team should have to do the same.

I agree, Shagg & Florida put in a lot of effort bringing people in. A lot of us came to join them not some random guy who wakes up and finds himself with a Pro team. With no way of knowing who'll take over the best thing is for the players to find new teams. Its unfair on the playoff race in the West but the Pro League is no different from any of the others this has hapened to.

It's already been established that:

1. The best thing for the league is to keep the team intact.
2. That the best thing for the players is to NOT have some new guy (who might be awesome, BTW) take over the team.

So why don't ONE of you guys, step up and keep it intact?

Florida_boi...you are a perfect example. You've played there, you've just said that you recruited a ton of guys. You are as much the Supernovas as Shagg is at this point.

I have owned teams before, its just not for me. Idk why but the only other guy that would have stepped up is lionsfan. But the ball has already started rolling and alot of the guys have been traded
