7) The fact that I don't feel like scouting and gameplanning any extra hours for some bunk tournament. I own one team and ACTIVELY GM another and GM 2 other teams on top of that.
8) SI wasn't even going to include us in his original tournament...why? because we had 0 level 25s on the roster-that was his answer. lol..and then we went on to win the championship beating teams with multiple 25s and 26s, so THEN we are good enough?..right.
9) SI's team is in the tournament and his team sucks-making this tournament completely and utterly flawed.

Im not saying you guys dont have points...but this was not an easy task nor is it perfect...It will never be...you "Black Sheep" pulled out for whatever reason..I dont see the point of disparaging what a bunch of players/owners in this thing are looking forward to.

Exactly. I think that some people would like to pretend that more than half these teams do not deserve to be here. That is just not the case.

Level does not > Build/Tactics.

But to discount tpat, Ronin, Harper, etc. as some of the best tacticians out there would be a disgrace.

And notice how a lot of the guys who were in USA Pro in seasons 1 and 2 are not there anymore, because they had pretty horrendous builds. At the same time, one of my season 2 players spent a season and a half in USA Pro even with his reduced level because of his build.

By the way, I never said that SI made good picks. I do not like him at all, based on what happened in Canada Pro. But to back out for that reason? Pretty weak.

On the other hand, teams like the Mustangs... Tim didn't want to join, but stood up to the challenge (as well, the team members were sorta eager to join in).

I guess we're not cowards.

That being said, there's a reason we didn't get invited. But if we did, we'd have no reservations playing. Sure, we'd lose first round for sure. But hey, who cares?

And with that, the Elves don't mind being a last minute sub for any team that backs out. But we won't play a couple of poser teams that like to pretend they're any good. Cobra Kai, top 5 team? They're barely top 5 in their league.

And kalmanc, we did want to join the tournament. Only Harper was semi-against it. The rest of the team wanted to do it from the beginning. Is it as important as a league title? Not even close. But it's still an interesting format to play.

alright, slight misunderstanding...i personally would rather just play teams of owners who i am in contact with frequently and have them be friendlies.if bort were to set up a league of champions, id be all for it and would would try my best to make it there.
