short term it'd be a license to print money. long term who knows how it'd affect the game but it's not like there's some other longterm plan it'd conflict with.

Ya, though that would mean you have to go pretty close to full price on a dot which is crazy talk. You would be better off just slitting the entire under game for the top end game, pricing that out in a reasonable way, and building a structure of leagues once again around one level.

I agree with this. GLB is lolexpensive as is, but I'd rather pay 900 flex/season (or less if bort wants to not price the world out) to have a dot at plateau for up to say 10 seasons, rather than pay to have a dot fuck around in lolminors when I haven't watched a lolminors play or cared about a lolminors stat fucking ever.

You'd need something for the dot to gain over seasons if you want to pretend it's an RPG still. Perhaps dumbass money for lolhouses and shit, sounds fine to me, just don't break the game.

Also fix INTs if we are changing anything. kthx.

No more minors at all imho.

Just full on level 79's in every league here.

"Create and Compete"

WL > 4 Pro's > 4 Reg Elite > 4 Reg Comp > 4 Reg leagues

If it expands again, go Regional 1-8 instead of 1-4. Work your way to WL or Casual Pro, everyone is level 79. everyone is different, all arches stay, all every thing stays. BT's would be the only coding factor. The build starts with 1600 BT's and 75 VA's and "undetermined amount of SP's, pick an arche and height and weight CE, upgrade as usual what you can afford for flex, done and done!!

You can still shop for gear to try to save BT's risk, you can still convert to SP's no different then saving til the end of day 280. ZERO advantages to making insta builds except all the advantage in the world to having this entire site max levelled players built to play right now!

If that's the way it went I'd support it

But I have no problem with a transitional scheme either.
Say start by cutting the dot price and CEQ by 33 to 50%.
Keep everything else with the game the same but allow insta-dots (at any level) as an option.

Three advantages to the option plan:
1. Pedantic agents could continue to take a year to build if they want.
2. Owners could buy what they needed to fill out their roster for a team at any level and try the system out without buying anymore flex.
3. The rest of us could stay up late at night working a VPB until we hit click

The only disadvantage might be the league structure going heavy Pro leaving the lower leagues under subscribed and no fun.
But I'm a free market capitalist and I trust the market to resolve any of those issues.

I just think it would be too cool for school!

I'm afraid that would be the death of the game. A portion of the userbase enjoys playing in rinse and repeat underground no/no leagues.

They're not paying any of the site's expenses.

I mean, some of the owners with the underground leagues prolly spend more than some of the people with boosting dots that have been living off flex they bought years ago.

And did we learn nothing from the devastation that occurred after killing off non-boosters or changing the league structure? Every time GLB has forced it's users into a smaller, tighter way of playing the game it has ran off users. Listening to people like Larry is a part of why GLB is in the shape it's in. They want to whimsically do shit they think sounds cool without thinking of the overall health of the game.

If you cut the minors all together you wouldn't have to overcharge the player base for an insta player and non boosters would actually be on a little better level of competing than they currently are.

It's like when I was for getting rid of D-leagues but changed my mind when I found out the D-league challenge was the only thing keeping some people around.

I really think there are people that are so disassociated with anything outside WL that they can't comprehend there are other ways of playing this game and other people prefer those ways. Please don't run them off as it was done in the past.

You seem to be disassociated with the concept.

No, I don't have a problem with insta-79s. I have a problem with shitcanning everything and forcing everyone to create insta-79s or leave.
