Blizzard also isn't still working on Diablo 2 or Starcraft.

You do realize that they still support WoW 10 years later......... a. lot. Why? Well because it is still popular and still makes them zillions of dollars. I would have thought you would want the same? Or no?

Because it is still profitable.

I mean, I'd like nothing more than to ride GLB1 into the sunset on a pile of gold, but years of development and an ever declining userbase kind of proved that isn't realistic.

Brand loyalty doesn't matter if there's no brand.

Wait GLB isn't still profitable? You mean people don't still contribute money to game where the devs are perceived as absentee? Because being engaged, present, hard working, etc....... those things actually create the "brand". Hence, this whole thread. You know, the one where we are saying "do more for our money" and you and Bclown keep morphing into us wanting some personal time with Bert. I don't want personal time with Bert, I want you and him to get to work supporting the game that we are paying for. You can see the difference, no?

Have you even compared the differences between GLB and MMO's that are considered successful? I would assume you have, but since the contrasts are so great, maybe you haven't. Because everything from the pricing structure, to professionalism, to "presence"......... is all 100% in contrast.

Also, just fyi....... the reason that everyone wants to hear directly from Bort is in direct relationship from what you guys have created from the beginning. If you wanted Admins to be taken seriously and viewed as having some power here, yet for years the mantra was "I can't answer that, you'd have to ask Bort" "wait for the next Q/A and ask Bort" "let me talk to Bort and we'll get back to you", then it certainly isn't a stretch that now when you/euchrid/anyone else chimes in on any topic that we want to hear it from the someone who can actually do something instead. You and Bort created this perception.......

Yes, because this is exactly what happens when Bort posts.

You can be "done", but can you actually refute anything my post contained? Does this mean I win something?

Isn't providing you with multiple games (games you can spend money on, or where you can use the points you already spent money on) us 'doing more for your money'? If you're not interested in the new stuff we're working on... then what's left to talk about?

I think we all get that you want him to be working on GLB1 right now. But, as we've said, that's not what he's working on right now. We're currently maintaining GLB1 while working on developing newer games. And that's not going to change, at least not any time soon. If you're into the new stuff, great. If you're not into it (and it seems like you're clearly not), that's fine too, GLB1 is still right here.

Why do people care about what BORT makes anymore? He's a coder not a businessman. I thought we all knew this 5 years ago.
