So, it's looking more and more like the Rookie Class of S40 is going to come in much smaller than the Rookie Class of S39 -- unless of course 1,841 more dots get created between now and Day 39. But just like earlier this season, we're nowhere near the right pace to reach that.

Oh shit- I better start building now, then.

its not even about rookie class. ive seen like 4-5 teams fold this season in uni... we had 1 solid cas rookie league a few seasons ago when i started, and 2 weak leagues. now we have 1 still pretty solid league and then some shitty leagues. idk how regular leagues are doing but casual is pretty dead and has been for a while.

I would think that most casuals have moved to GLB2 honestly.

They really should shut down casual on GLB1 at this point. Keep this game for the hardcore, and the other for the filthy casuals like myself.

but that's what GLB2 is for, so you don't really have to. Even I can OC there, it's that easy.

i meant i wouldnt go to glb2 and would move the Dinos to the regular leagues. ive OCd and DCd two teams in glb2. 0 fun.

should shutdown glb2 and bring everyone back here then make hockey. problem solved. no1 will play hockey but they'll be excited about a new game and then i can just win hockey every season.

everyone wins.

Casual Pro is more active, with more "hardcore" devotees than any of the National Pro Leagues by a mile. It is the second best league in the game next to WL. The minor leagues there are rather inactive but GLB2 is not akin to GLB1 casual in any facet whatsoever. Most of the casual guys here hate GLB2.

WHAT IF hear me out. They made casual leagues 1 League per tier and made it a waiting list again. but just for casual. Might give casual agents incentive to try harder because you it's not so easy to get teams. Also need to condense regular leagues again. Not enough of those crazy little dots.

In terms of cares, Casual Pro is probably best-compared to World League, not to Natty Pro. Casual Pro is the top league in Casual, and World League is the top league in Regular.

Comparing Casual Pro to Natty Pro is like comparing the BCS Championship game to the AFC and NFC championship games while ignoring the Super Bowl.

The situation is not analogous to RL football for many reasons. There are and have been Casual Pro teams who could compete well in WL given full tactics with knowledgeable coordinators for regular. No college team could ever hope to compete in an NFL conference championship. Hell the '08 Lions would have crushed the best college team.

My point was that in terms of forum activity, cares, and competition, Casual Pro is easily the 2nd best league in the game. The forum may actually be more active.

Fair enough, but I just thought it was silly to compare the top tier of Casual to the second tier of Regular. Comparing the top tier of ANYTHING to the second tier of something else is pointless, whether it's GLB, college/pro football, types of fruit, or whatever.

No, there aren't and haven't been. Casual Pro teams are equivalent to National Pro teams, the only difference is that Casual guys tend to have more cares.

Pretty sure the reason they are in casual is because they aren't knowledgeable coordinators who can compete in WL.

You honestly think there has never been a roster of dots in casual that could compare to a roster of dots in WL? That is pretty presumtuous of someone that has spent 0 time in Casual. Win WL? Maybe not. Compete? There have been

There are often National Pro teams who could compete in WL...
