If you were recruiting based on anything but builds by the time they changed to age based leagues you were far surpassed by anyone who actually knew wtf was going on.

When you talk about recruiting CPU dots, I cant tell if youre being srs

you honestly believe having 2 separate games would be the same as it is now?

so if we had basketball and football instead of football and football you really think the userbase would be split like this?

How does being basketball change slow loading replays, a super simplified player building process, and simplified planning tactics? Maybe the graphics work better as basketball? I dunno. While I agree 2 football games split the userbase, a different game still comes with the same headaches.

well i doubt they wouldve made it casual. the only reason why they made glb2 casual is because they have glb1.

i would get more into it but i hate basketball and know very little about it.

replays are faster on glb2 than glb1 for me.

Actually, back in the day you could have a lot of fun recruiting CPU rosters for shit leagues. If you knew what to look for you could field a pretty decent roster.

I haven't really played any basketball sims so I really don't know exactly how the AI works. And the replays are fine for me too. But that has been a constant complaint.

Your point is irrelevant because you are talking about CPU's and you aren't recruiting CPU's. You aren't weeding through the CPU's either because they are inferior dots with balanced builds.

agreed i was just tossing a sport out there that most ppl on this site would like.

i just think anything wouldve been better than another football sim.

If you think having people own a team and manage all the dots on the team is attractive, it's not. It's being able to coordinate dots built to do whatever it is you want to do with them. I know this may or may not be foreign with you but many of us have always had to sign what we could and do the best with what we had. I can assure you the best times I've had as an owner have been when I was playing around with all CPU teams or running a PW with only my dots on the roster. The all CPU was much more fun because I didn't have to train, dump SP, set tactics, or equip the players.

No, you're the one that has the same thought process as Bort. You have a tiny little box that your mind can't escape. If something has never been done a certain way then doing it any other way is just stupid. Or you don't like something or never done something yourself certainly no one else could possibly like it and the ones that did obviously wasted their time. People like you are what's wrong with this fucking game. It's cemented in your mind there's only one way to play GLB and any other way is just "stupid".
