A wise man once said, "If you have two quarterbacks, you don't have one."

If you have two football sims, you don't have one.

GLB2: kill it with fire.

It's pretty easy for me, actually.

Seriously, a few months ago, I was laughing at everyone who was hating on a game they hadn't even played yet. I figured I should wait and give it a chance before passing judgement on it.

Well, now I've played it. And I find it quite lacking, and I don't like what the existence of GLB2 is doing to the viability of GLB1.

So, it's pretty simple: if I want GLB1 to continue to be fun, I have to do whatever I can to contribute to the demise of GLB2.

Glad you're having fun with GLB2, bhall, but I think you're going to be among rare company pretty soon.

Actually the simple part about it is if you want GLB1 at all, you are rooting for the wrong direction.

The viability of GLB1 was already in the tank.

GLB2 has already brought back a number of users who hadn't logged into GLB in years as well. So whether I love or hate the game I at least like the fact that it is bringing back users.

Probably, but the existence of GLB2 is needlessly accelerating that.

Might want to take a stroll through the GLB2 forums and see the threads from people who are frustrated because they signed their bots to new teams, only to have the team owners walk away from GLB2 after just one or two days.

Doesn't matter how many people check out GLB2 once. What really matters is how many people stay on GLB2. And while it's still early, the initial trends don't look very promising on that front.

Don't worry, though, bhall, you're a mod, so we forgive you for trumpeting the company line. You're doing your job. I hope you get a Flex-raise out of it.

Eh, I'm enjoying the different feel.

Will keep a few players here, retire the rest and keep a few players there.

That was a problem in GLB1 when this game was thriving. I strolled through the 2 threads about it though.

Regardless, GLB1 needs GLB2 to stay alive. So your theory of burning GLB2 to the ground doesn't really make much sense.

No, GLB1 needed a good GLB2 to stay alive. Too bad we didn't get a good GLB2.

Your opinion is tainted by the fact that if you were to say anything bad about GLB2, you'd probably lose your Mod status and that nifty Flex stipend that comes with it.

At least you didn't merge this thread, though. So you've got that goin' for ya, I suppose.
