Most of the Checkers in DC are in pretty scary areas (though that NY Ave corridor is cleaning up little by little. Five Guys is here downtown and a short walk from the office.

Granted, I prefer going to RFD and getting beer and burgers, but can't always afford an hour and a half lunch.

You misplet District Chophouse, http://www.chophouse.com/

Or Old Ebbitt Grill, nom nom nom, http://www.ebbitt.com/

Hey, Chophouse is good and I was the only one in our pict that looked like he had a drinking problem (since the waiter spilled some of my bourbon barrel stout).

Try peanut butter and miracle whip sandwich. It's heavenly

I have a Checkers about 3 miles from my house, in a nice area. But I can't eat there too often... every time I eat one of the burgers, I feel like my heart should stop. They are so unbelievably greasy and fatty... but that is why they taste so damn good... and cheap... fuck I want one...

Chophouse is real good... We'll have to hit Ebbitt's next time. Or maybe someplace out closer to you. I don't work downtown anymore, so it doesn't matter.

Ebbitt's is really close to me- I pass it every day on the bikeride in.

Where'd they move you out to?
