Not trying to be a dick or anything but I have been seeing things like this being said all over the board whenever someone asks why something isn't being done, or something is taking a long time to get done.

My thought on this would be the same as I think a good chunk of the user base.

Basically, "I Don't give a shit"

- If I was subscribing to a magazine I wouldn't keep subscribing while the editors gave me old articles and told me they where working on a new magazine.
- If I was getting my car fixed I wouldn't take second hand parts because the car company said they where building different model and make cars.
- If I was in a restaurant and the waiter gave me mediocre food I wouldn't come back on the promise of different food in the future.

Why do you think any of your paying customers care if the game creator decided to do something different? Your not my wife, you don't pay my bills. Your not sharing profits with me. At the end of the day I am the paying customer.

Like all internet games I have played a very small percentage post on the board on a regular basis. Those are the same diehards that are wedded to the game and actually take into account the other creations the game creator is working on.

Most of us don't. We are paying customers and honestly short of a death in the creators family we could care less what else he is doing. Its not like the creator or the mods are doing us any favors. WE PAY FOR THIS GAME.

You moderators are not doing the game creator any favors but constantly using that as an excuse. I think your so blinded by how devoted you are to him that you don't realize most of us are not. We are paying to play a game we enjoy. Nothing more nothing less. If it stops being enjoyable we will leave, regardless of what other projects you are working on.

Doing something else is not a valid excuse for keeping a paying customer happy.
