I think Smuttynose is made near u, very good beer. At least from my somewhat limited experience with craft beers.

i see it around... not sure what their "full lineup" is like. what i've had has been good, but not special (my opinion).
where are you?
smuttynose has legit distribution i think... others like Berkshire Brewing Company, City Steam, and Olde Burnside Brewing are like super local. Hooker is local. not sure how widely they are distributed. Allagash is Maine?... that's easy to find. so is the Brooklyn stuff for me. Founders just exploded here... all of a sudden its in every store.

i try stuff all the time, should keep a journal as half the time i don't remember what i drank last week.
burton baton from dogfish head i like a lot.
if you like dogfish head, how do you feel about the 60 and 90 minute ipas?
My favorite is probably stone ruination (http://www.stonebrew.com/ruin/ ) for that super hoppy taste, but I first got into ipas through harpoons flagship ipa (http://www.harpoonbrewery.com/beer/1/Harpoon-IPA ) which you should be able to find since they're out of boston...it's not nearly as jacked in the ibu department but it's got great taste, one of my favorite summer bbq companions...longtrail's double ipa is another excellent choice (http://www.longtrail.com/family-of-ales/ales/double-ipa.aspx ), as well as rock art's belvedere ipa (http://www.rockartbrewery.com/belvedere ) ...magic hat is a quality choice, but I've drank so much of it it just feels average to me now and I can't enjoy it half as much as I'd like to lol, either way these 2 seasonal ipa are worth trying: blind faith (http://www.magichat.net/elixirs/blind_faith ), and h.i.p.a. (http://www.magichat.net/elixirs/hIPA-on-tour ) ...another not overly hoppy but great tasting ipa is bbc's lost sailor (http://www.berkshirebrewingcompany.com/lost_sailor.html ) ...
I could probably go on for a while so I'll leave it at that and do all further posting in the pf

i love BBC's IPA. http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/33/89
(my most local store has a poor selection, but they have this, so this is kind of my "go to" beer)
agree on Magic Hat feeling average
i like Harpoon.. i'd rather splurge for their imperial IPA (Leviathan) though, http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/10097/44755

For a WL forum this sure is a D-League quality beer selection. Give me the PF invite. Who here lives near Greensboro, VT?

Age the 120 for a few years and then try it.

Can't beat good old American Busch Beer out of a can...just toss the can in the back of your truck when you are done and head home from the river.
