Again my 2 cents worth, If I was in Gold and knew a owner had 2 teams their it would just simply make it better when I beat him!

So if my second team makes gold this season would it be better to just have it filled with CPUs next season in peewees premier league? Not sure if you can go from copper to gold.

So, it all comes back to me arguing against having two teams in PWG way back when, then getting a 2nd team of my own a couple seasons later. Though I have explained my reasons multiple times, guess I have to do it again...

First of all, things are not that black & white. Yes, back around S21 I lobbied for not allowing owners to have 2 teams in PWG. This was a natural extension of my previous posts trying to not allow PWG teams to share coordinators. I always envisioned a PWG where every team had a unique set of owners & coaches, making each team unique. Of course teams could share agents that make dots, but nothing else.

Anyway, when I did that, nearly the entire PW community went against me because I was going against what their beloved RalphKnight was doing. Not only did they go against me, it turned into a witch hunt with me as the only target. Though my intentions were, for the most part, noble, every fact about me was twisted so badly that my good reputation was totally trashed and I became the scapegoat for every problem in PW.

While I fully admit my playoff loss to RK's 2nd team kicked me into action, it was something that was bothering me long before that game and I was planning on posting something about it that off season anyway. This was the root of most of the attacks against me and the personal attacks got way out of hand. Though I have a think skin, when an entire community turns against me and a number of people constantly post personal attacks against me twisting most everything I have ever done to make me look like a bad guy, well even I have a breaking point.

Needless to say, I was pretty pissed about what happened. So instead of just letting it go, I decided to create a 2nd PW team with the intention of taking it to PWG. This wasn't done because I changed my mind and was being hypocritical. Instead it was done to spite everyone who argued against me to show them how unfair it truly is and I would shove that unfair advantage down their throats. That team was TIA, which I won a PWG championship with a few seasons later. Mission accomplished!

I then re-retired TIA and went back to just having one team in PWG. But after a few seasons, I missed having a 2nd, so joined LE's No-No league with AZ. I never thought a no-no team would ever make it to PWG, but many did. Also to my surprise, AZ did well in PWG and that brings us to this point.

Would I call my actions hypocritical? No, but words like petty and/or vindictive would be more appropriate. So next time, don't make ignorant posts and jump to inaccurate presumptions with out knowing the facts first.

I took my team to pwg all by myself lost in final to peewee university only. Nola kangs who are in gold right now was in my conference. I took my rookie team to gold in my first ownership season. So go bitching somewhere else, HOLE

...for all the attacks that you got about lobbying against owning 2 PWG teams, I was not one of those that was against you! ...some of us were completely on your side, but you had a lot of dissenters before that came about ...sounds like you are just using that as an excuse ...trying to turn a negative into a positive ...but it still doesn't justify owning a 2nd PWG team!

Difference is as long as your on one side of the ball on one team and on one side of the ball on another. Say running two offense or what not, what people did not like was running two entire teams by one agent. Too much advantage their. RK did it and most complained and guess what? He gave that team up. Then when RK gave the game up you go and do the same thing. Unlike him you keep your team and use it to your advantage. Once RKs team made it to the playoffs and lost, he was done.

Also I am not a fan of Jkid having two teams either. Differnece is Jkid run the defense on FG and the offense on GTS


Yalls money though, spend it where you want. Like someone said, if we don't like it we will have to beat your team. If you lose enough maybe you hang one up....lol

...but they use those losses to make their primary team/AIs/strategies/structures better, so it still doesn't give enough reason to 'hang one up' in fact, that's their main purpose for having a 2nd team in PWG! ...jkid says that it is not a test team, ...it may not be a team that is testing it's own builds anymore, but it is still testing other teams out, so clearly, they ARE test teams coz jkid/gerr are testing other team's builds/AIs/structures/strategies to refine their own builds/AIs/structures/strategies for that gold gif come playoffs! ...gerr/jkid have twice as many games to refine and get their teams/AIs ready for those final deciders than any other team! ...both have 2 bites at the cherry from different conferences! ...how could that possibly be considered in the best interests of PWG?

By the way, there are 4 current PWG owners with 2 teams in PWG now, so 2 more other than me and jkid.

And if so many people were on my side when I originally posted about it being unfair to have 2 teams in PWG back around S21, then why did no one step up and help me at that time? Instead, those people seemed to enjoy me getting trashed, and just left me hanging on my own, so my action was as much against them as it was to those who trashed me.

And RK never proved a no-no team could win it all, only that a no-no team could make the playoffs and have an outside chance every once in a while against a boosted full-full team. It's only been recently, ie in the last 3-4 seasons, that no-no teams got as powerful as they are. Back then, it was unheard of for no-no teams to be competitive with a top full-full team.

And for the record, yes, I was very surprised in S29 when my no-no AZ Cardz with only a 50-man roster, made it to the PWG championship game. Never once did I ever think they would make it that far. Actually, I thought I would struggle to miss the demotion at the start of that season.
