Your complaining about the pass game in general; I merely stated that the QB can be stupid on some routes ect.. Didn't include the part about routes earlier but I should have..

They sent 3 the majority of the time and sat back and gave your QB plenty of time. Wouldn't exactly say Oslo put on the kind of pressure that's going to force bad throws.

and most of my complaints as well as my OC's is that the short routes look like complete ass and they shouldn't. We will clearly not use them but that doesn't mean the game doesn't need improvements there. You're confusing things that work for now and things that no longer work, but should. The short passing game has been shit for the past 3 seasons at least and it hasn't gotten much better. I don't care about bad passes on deep routes, that shit happens.

So I guess I'm just seeing things when I see a bunch of short passes completed.

I'll be a little more specific...

1) improve QB decision making process. QBs routinely pass over single coverage only to panic and throw into triple coverage.
2) slightly reduce effect of hurries on pass quality, especially on QBs with high pocket presence and confidence.
3) slightly reduce radius of hurry effect. Saw a QB panic and throw a bad pass when hurried by a DT 3+ yards away today.
4) improve lead mechanics for more YAC opportunities, especially on crossing patterns.
5) slight boost to receiving in single coverage.

Not sure if the above can be dialed in without swinging the pendulum too far towards the offense.

I disagree with the bolded parts.. Hurries don't always result in bad passes so I'm fine with them.. If they do tone down hurries I would like to see the hot read option toned down as well.. I can't set anyone to blitz without the QB seeing it; even a CB way outside. Bad passes are a different matter.

As for the hurried when DT isn't close, you must look at who is blitzing. Most likely a LB is blitzing with fearsome and the QB can feel increased hurry pressure from anyone. You won't be able to tell if the LB has fearsome so you can't make assumptions here..

Adding those all in I feel would swing the pendulum to far back for offense... I'd agree with #1, #2 sort of (I think they can look at and assess hurries and bad passes), and #4

I dislike #5.. I feel after watching a lot of games at both the WL and Pro level that the builds matter somewhat.. I've seen some of our WRs win a bunch of single coverage passes and I've seen some that haven't. Looking at the builds I wasn't surprised at all to see how that has panned out.

Well, at least you now know where I'm coming from and not just bitching and moaning.

The current sim is close. Just need a few more minor tweaks. 1 or 2 more pass completions per 10 attempts is all I am really looking for (on short/intermediate routes).

Deep passing is about where it needs to be.

I'll be honest, besides QB decision making I think that short/medium pass completions are pretty good...

they're the routes your choosing... I guess you seem to think come backs and certain out routes are working fine???

Unless of course you think crossing routes are the only short passing routes that count?

And honestly, yeah... if any DC is going to leave the middle wide open for crossing routes, they deserve to get torched. But Out routes and Curls are broken.

Im choosing? Pretty sure Im not an OC but whatever floats your boat...

Also want to go back to talking about how 3 Dlinemen cant get pressure? Pretty sure you are the one that has no clue what the hell your talking about.

No they aren't broken, the QB is broken because he doesn't know how to throw to routes specific to do something..
