What USAORG is doing is piss poor, selfish, and not in the spirit of competitive football. If the commissioner of the league (in this case admin staff) had any balls they'd lock your rosters for gutting.

I agree. I have a couple players in USAORG, but come on guys. How do you not see this as cheating?

I wanna win too, but do it the right way.

The way I see it, it has nothing to do with winning - it has to do with a bad decision and poor communication by the "admin staff."

I wouldn't play for an owner I didn't sign up for, and all you idiots who are saying, "You don't know if the owner will be bad..."

Yea, and I don't know whether or not I'd like to shoot heroin, but I'm not going to take that chance. People pay to play here, and they joined the USAORG - so what is the problem with them continuing to play for the USAORG.

Islander sounds like my whiney girlfriend when shes on her period though, I will say that.

Get over it or quit playing, crybabies.

Quit gutting/cheating, and we'll get over it.
last I checked paying to play was optional, moreover you guys are just a teeny, tiny, inconsequential spec in the ocean that is the income this MMO brings in.

You may fashion yourself(ves) as hot poop and conveniently above the rules - but guess what? You aren't.

edit: took what was really an unnecessary insult out.

Quit crying about something that doesn't concern you...I know I would not want to play for you because I want to know my owner is loyal and will look out for his guys so if he is not willing to give his guys an opt out clause if he sells the team then he is not a type of guy I want to play for.

It does concern me when gutting's involved. Be glad I'm not an admin or I'd have both teams locked down.
As far as you playing for me, oh well, somehow I'll manage to survive

okay, I pointed this out in the GLB thread about this, but according to Thorn as long as USAORG isn't releasing/trading players with the specific intent (and execution) of all joining a second team, it's legitimate.

I only suggested to Thorn that he monitor their transactions and the players released. If this truly is a case where teams are being liquidated to many other non USAORG teams (moreso then traded to other USAORG teams, which would be closer to the definition of 'gutting') then what these guys are doing is legitimate as stated by the admin staff.

So I'm done attacking. Good luck guys, I don't agree with what's happening, but it's allowable, so the harassing of these guys should end as long as they aren't loading up their other USAORG teams.

I guess that's why you aren't an admin.

Exactly...they aren't doing anything illegal...they were looking out for their players and trying to give the players a chance to pick their destination. That's fine in my book.

Says the guy that owns a team and GMs another in the same league/conference. Time to get off the high horse.

What does that have to do with the price of tea in China? You clearly don't have the remotest of clues of which you're speaking.

That team (The Cows) is completely independent of my own.
I was the DC of the Milwaukee Cows when I left to start my own team in the 1/2 offseason. As luck would have it, the team I got was in USA A5. We promoted, and sure enough, we ended up in the same conference and division as the Cows.
Because of all the work I did on the Cows, the owner wanted to keep me on as an adviser as I helped him rebuild the franchise in season 1.

Oh, yeah, the Cows were a BBB team before the end of season 1. It's a total fluke we ended up where we are. I had no clue they were in our direct promotion bracket until after I got my team.

Moreover, not a single Cow player has GM privileges on my team. Although there are a few Cow players on my team so it balances out nicely enough.
I have zero tactical privileges on the Cows. I'm solely an adviser now for Packabacka.

I have no clue huh? I noticed you GM a team in the same conference you own a team. If you want to be on that high horse, maybe you should resign from the GM position. As far as not having an advantage, you might be the first GM in GLB history to not be able to see the builds of the Cow players that are set to team view then. That would be a tactical advantage, as would access to the team forum. Your situation sounds a lot fishier than anything you are accusing USAORG of. I play against them and have no problem with the Vacationers getting any added players.

Yeah, you have no clue.

Guess what genius - the Cows head coach can see my player builds too. He's my backup tight end, Tory Humphrey. Not only that, I help them with ideas in player development and team management too. Oh, I don't give them all of my ideas, but a fair amount of them.

The only thing you're demonstrating is how big an idiot you are. This game isn't about builds alone, it's about execution of a game plan, managing individual player tactics, and to some extent just flat out luck.

Neither of us can see parameters such as these. These aren't posted on the team forums ever. I only PM them to people.

He's challenged my integrity, that's as good as namecalling in my book.

I mean, to put into context how offbase his claims are, the equivalent idiotic claim for me to make is - 'because he owns two teams, he could turn one into a farm team at any time he needs to, oh no!'

That's how stupid DDD looks.

DDD - I gave islander permission to be a GM. He wouldn't be a GM if I didn't want him to. I trust him 100%, do not question his integrity.

Here's a tissue and a tampon, you figure out which one goes where.

I think this topic can now be locked. After much hot air about rule interpretations, personal opinions, and personal attacks things have held up. If people want to propose rule changes, see the suggestions forum. If you want to insult USAORG, PM a GM and vent away. Everyone has an opinion on this situation, but further discussion won't change the outcome.

DDD is right on this. You two are the shady ones with two teams in the same conference openly working together. That, to me, would define collusion. USAORG has just taken criticism for moves they openly did. I don't see how you are relating DDD owning two teams to a farm team, since noone has ever moved from one team to the other.

No one cares about the USAORG "press release". You are no better than anyone else on here.

No one has moved from my team to Islander's, with the exception of Islander leaving to start the team. I only have access to his team because I own a player, he has access to mine to give advice. No collusion whatsoever. Believe what you want though.

I'm sorry you felt it a waste of your time, but if you weren't interested then don't read it and better yet don't post. This topic has generated nine pages worth of discussion, most of it useless, but obviously someone cared.

The topic served the purpose of making an announcement, which is what this forum was designed for. I chose to use it so that random topics would not spring up about current activities. Nowhere is an implication made about being better than anyone.

Thanks for your valuable insight.
