Even one of the teams I assume you refer to as one of the two that has a chance barely beat that CPU team. They were out-gained by almost double, had less time of possession, and were it not for two return TDs and a pick-6, they would have lost. Certainly, at least one phase of their game was lacking against CPU players.

They may well have good coordinators, and I'd like to think that is the case. But having CPU dots do so well when coordinated effectively begs the question if actually paying for dots is worth it. IMO, Bort screwed up in this area and made them too competitive with regular dots. Still not up to par, but too damn close to be good for his business if he keeps this going.

I believe someone said before this season that the CPU possession wideouts were uber, and I note that IIRC AGThings runs a very pass oriented offense. This "exploit" might be frustrating, but its something they have to game plan to make happen and its still not making them a winning team, so I wouldn't go so far as to say that they have rendered human players irrelevant.

Yes maybe if you are as good as their HC and are happy being in the bottom of the conference then maybe its easier than recruiting. But that seems to be about as good as a CPU can manage.

That said, I am definitely not confident about our chanes against the Drones, and we need that game to get into the playoffs.

EA, the clear favorite, beat a 3-7 team by only 7 points (and only because they scored 10 points in the last minute of the game). 0 cares and all aside, outside of a couple scrub teams, any team in Alpha can beat any other team in Alpha. When playoffs come along and people start caring, I expect that to be a different story. As of right now though, teams 1-14 are all capable of winning despite their opponent.

We all know that CPU players got a significant boost this season and that hcreek is an elite coordinator. All Good Things beating a good team is not something that has been unheard of in the past and certainly not so this season with the boost Bort gave to CPU players.

Eag v brantford - I had 3 test defensive plays in that ran over and over and they didn't work. Everyother game otega and I haven't even looked at.

Eag is almost as good as indy and come playoff time ain't nobody gonna touch us. You know this, everybody knows this. I don't call that competetive bro.

bug, you're assuming that everyone else is trying their hardest and you are the only team resting on it's laurels. I can guarantee you that is not a safe assumption. If this were the playoffs, I'd give my team, as the underdog, a reasonable shot at the upset and against Carthage, I'd see them as a slight favorite over your team. But go right ahead and get over-confident.

Oh, and GG Longhorns.
