Seems to me, that you don't want t pay attention, make mistakes, the want to blame some else.
Once again borked a build by mindlessly hitting Buy on Equipment when I was just putzing around. Stupid silly Backspace mistake but NO it costs me 14 BTs that mean my guy will have one less something and plus another thing at plateau.

Why do you hate people?
You seem to want to deny them fun or ease of use.
I don't think he hates people but is probably the sort who wouldn't allow someone to take mulligans when playing golf for money. Or allow his opponent to take back moves in a tournament game of chess. Or re-roll the dice because you landed on Go To Jail in monopoly. Tend to agree with him on that. So do most people as seen by the fact that in sports games undo buttons have been routinely lambasted by the user base. Look no further than Madden which had the rewind feature for all of one season before the user base shouted it down and EA scrapped it.
Allowing the undo button for people who aren't paying attention or make a dumb mistake devalues the time spent on not screwing up by players who didn't make those errors. Pay more attention and it will happen less often.
Most of the best games have a controlled environment where mistakes hurt you. This game is no different.
