Ah, based off an algorithm you didn't create, that is based on the season before, that doesn't take into account any sort of recruiting, retirement, etc.

He could shuffle it a thousand times and still end up with one strong conference.

So base it off a rankings script and manually hand pick each entry? I bet that sounds like a shit load of fun.

People will always bitch, either way. The point is to do it in the most efficient and accurate manner possible. It will never be "perfect". Random is anything but perfect.

There are quite a few ways to be closer to the target. Bort could even code SoS into the rankings that include ranked scrimmages. Most games have this. It's called a RANKED LADDER.

Now, I'm not the person that codes this game, and I'm not going to be doing their job for zero reward. There's the problem - now go fix it. Build a ranked ladder based on a similar concept to what Niboris does, and then utilize that. If Bort needs me to take a PERL class and code it for him, then he's certainly just being lazy and not caring.
