Quite frankly these teams have earned the right to pick someone to take their place. No one is arguing that Dirty isn't a Gold worthy team, so what's the issue here?

Again:

The Promotion process only covers teams that go CPU or lose out of Gold.

In this regard the promotion system worked exactly as intended.

What happens outside of this is NOT covered under the promotion rules, nor should it.

When a team EARNS their place in Gold, they should be expected to be allowed to request demotion if they plan on taking some time off without losing their credentials, history, and trophies.

I'm the mother freaking commissioner of Pee Wee.

When you earn your place, you'll get to tell people how it is. Until then, you are just whine and cheese.

Just a little FYI I owned the team before Gold was even created.
They needed 32 Teams to fill Gold, we lost to the Llamas in Championship game. (I owned the team before the Championship Game but was locked out of the AI's)
We were not expecting to be Gold just like several other teams that lost the Championship Game.
However we were promoted based on the fact we were the best available team along with NOPW and a couple of others that have already sealed there fate. Both teams have proven as worthy competitors and have been better than other teams that come and go every season. That supposedly earn Gold by winning there Championship League in Silver. Then crater in Gold which in some cases a measly non winning record. I can say every season we have been competitive we have had a winning record and made the playoffs in lolGold

So when you post about Wam in Gold since it's inception we are not even in this boat of a free pick. I did not buy the team when it was in Gold either.
Plus I had about 25 players on the team and helped run it to some extent. I paid my dues and have proven our Gold worthiness, season after season after season after season.......

I do not like posts that make it sound like it was just given to us and we do not belong.

I do not agree of an agent picking what team to swap with to be in Gold. I do agree that Dirty Inc is a sound team and if they do not belong it will be exploited very soon.

Keep our name out, we are not comparing Grapes to Apples from 5 seasons ago.
If you don't want us in gold by all means kick our ass out. We are looking for some new rivals anyway! I am kinda getting tired of playing SBWL 2 and 3 times in a season (But it has made us better and stronger as a team) Many of our agents have been riding in the Wambulance from the beginning for better or worse)

I was using your name and mine to say that there are teams that made it in using unconventional methods, but who have proven that they deserve to be there because they win games.

Do I deserve to be in Gold anymore than Dirty?

Dtown bought Wam after it turned out the owner was a bunch of multis. That's how he got in. Does he deserve to be there?

The answer is yes, because season after season he and I have staved off elimination and found success in Gold.

This would place your team at probably #2 on a list of candidates behind Crib.

I actually don't. If this were the case, what would happen if my team (or Crib) decided to take a season off, or just had a bad season, and a couple of extra Gold spots opened up, do I (they/we) deserve to get in? You'd have just as much arguing about one of us getting in as you have now with Dirty.
I don't think the problem is the promotion process, I think it's fine, the problem is not all Silver leagues are equal. If talent was evenly dispersed, then the current system would work perfectly. So do we fix the promotion process, or the leagues? It seems GLB decided to answer that for us by fucking everything up. Now the leagues are more uneven than they've ever been. I'm actually surprised this thread has gotten so much attention, and the one about the silver league shuffle hasn't. So maybe we do need a new promotion process. If the leagues stay the way they currently are, we will have bigger problems in the future, not just with extra spots, but with the teams that won their (weak) leagues.

Yup. Everyone drop it. Looks like the right team got in.

No wait... Let's find a copper team that wants to play Gold so that we can have a game off.

I can't believe someone has actually suggested that Gold teams be allowed to choose their successor. What fucking country do you clowns live in? Why have system created leagues and rules for anything then? Get a bunch of your buddies and make your own league and let your other elitist friends in when you are tired of playing and the rest of us will go use the public courses.

DIRTY deserves to be in 100%, I forgot that they played Mccollums for a second.
Listen, it honestly isn't the biggest deal, they won the silver tourney and probably would have gotten in this season. (sorry if i'm repeating, there were 9 pages from my last post so i didn't want to read it )

Can I stop reading this steaming pile now? I hate to be like that but I do play GLB for fun and this is not my idea of it. If enough of you don't want Dirty in Gold I will try and get removed. idk how else to keep this from dragging out. I'll throw a number out there of +8 peewee owners or coordinators or active community members that don't want DIRTY in and I'll send a PM to Ellis.

Any team can pick their successor jerk-bag.

Hire their owner as a GM. Go CPU. GM buys team.

If the team is able to escape demotion, they are already able to do this.

So can any silver team fwiw.
