The owner of Chi Town thought he had to schedule the next round and sent me the owner of The Big Beaver Brigade a scrim challenge. This has been rejected and scheduling can continue.

Unless, Chi Town had/has another scrim challenge out with another team than the The Tiny Pee Wee Big Beaver Brigade.

Yep, good catch. I pasted the first round match. In either case, I did need Chi to cancel a scrim which they have, and the game is now set.

Looks like the 85'Bears will have to forfeit because we are unable to get a mistake of a scrimmage removed in time.

I have to admit that the customer services skills of the GLB support staff is really lackluster. I spend over $50 a month on this game, thus I am a pay customer, but they just ignored my request to remove a mistake scrimmage until it was too late, then send me a PM saying they can't remove a scrimmage game. I know this to be a lie as I have heard of other teams getting scrimmages removed.

As a network engineer, I deal with customers and vendors on a daily basis, so I know what good customer service is, and GLB does not have it. I thus need to re-evaluate my position of being a paying customer to a business with such sub-standard customer support. I was planning on buying more flex points so I can boost my team for the playoffs, then probably another set of flex points early next season so I can equip my new team with CEQ. Doesn't look like that will happen, thus the GLB support staff just cost Bort and crew at least $100. It remains to be seen if I continue after that.

I think it's nearing the holidays are coming so people want to spend more time with their families, but I get you, they need to work if they want money, except a lot of people just sweep it under the rug and continue paying.

Any news on this, still not scheduling?

You made the mistake, not GLB. It's not that difficult to schedule a scrim, or to follow the simple directions of this tournament.

If you want to use GLB's support team as a scapegoat for your own mistake, cool I guess.

Well, the problem is something only Bort can override. I may have to just schedule you guys and push the third round of the tourney back. I don't want to make you wait much longer.

Pushing the third round of the tourney back could be problematic; a lot of people have busy tourney and scrimmage schedules, so there would probably be some conflicts unless you pushed it all the way to the 14th. I guess we could bump all the games back to the next game's date and then set the championship sometime after the 25th.

Pushing the 3rd back is not the best plan. Lot of us have already scheduled games on different dates around the 3rd round date, that wouldn't be fair to the teams that actually followed the rules correctly.

Aye, I agree with you. But, what do I do for the two teams that haven't had their match? And, it's not their fault.

I can certainly deviate from the "hard" schedule we have in place for everyone if we need to.
