last season wala wala went undefeated, and new brunswick and manhattan kicked ass, winning some games by 100 but they didnt get bashed on the forum. in every league in every conference there is going to be a team that dominates. if u feel what we done was wrong okay i understand. lets just get on with the season and have fun

We would like to get on with our season, why don't you go to AAA where you belong and bring down a rebuilding team and let us.

the difference between manhattan, NB and Wala wala is that we all entered the league as a team. Not as an already made team that took in 30 players of high level. We dominated because we have good game planning and a good team. If you even take a look at our team we dont have the depth that other teams have yet we will shutout teams left and right and blew them out by 30+ points. We dont have 2 QBs that are both level 15 we dont have OTs 2 Deep or DTs 2 Deep. And if you look we defeated a team in the conference title game that had the depth. You will lose by someone and you will still be crybaby chumps. I will make a bet right now that after you guys get creamed you will gut the devils and magically appear in a different lower division. You all suck and i hope you guys lose by 500 each game. Go get em the heart and soul of the BBB 15. Show these cheaters what this game is really about.

The difference is really a matter of scale. New Brunswick had good players because we were able to recruite a lot of Rutgers fan agents who were psyched about a Rutgers team to bring their players over. Also we were good because we kicked ass recruiting in general. A lot of our best guys came here because they got overwhelmed with excited PMs from our players encouraging them to play for us. Hell, my d Coord wrote a dissertation on GLB D tactics to recruit our starting DE.
What you did wrong was 2 fold:
1. you combined the resources of 2 teams to make one really good one.
2. you colluded. Teams are all supposed to be in competition. Nothing can or will stop owners and GMs from throwing a good player to their friends here and there. Technically that is wrong, but we all do it. But when you do it with 10 players, all at once, that is clearly crossing a line. When you do it with 20+ that is the classic GLB gutting and collusion that is the bane of GLB right now.

As has been suggested in the "suggestions" forum, this team as a whole should be sent to automatically swap with the gutted mass that is the remnants of their old squad and play up in that league..... You'd all still be together, so hypothetically (according to yourselves) you'd all be happy, right???
If not, then there's something else afoot here.

Ok folks, I tried. I don't think the flaming on both sides accomplished anything. I think it could have been dealt with more constructively, but I totally understand people being upset. I still am, but also kinda disappointed, I'll admit.
Byron - your apology and the info I got has convinced me that while you were, of course, part of the problem, you're also apologetic, and genuinely trying to fix a lack of foresight and a greater problem. I hope it works, but we'll see. Regardless of the real life circumstances or not of people - and I'm not going to judge either way, not my business, trying to fix a mistake, whatever the reason, goes a ways in my opinion whether anyone else is going along with that attempt or not, and whether it was a mistake/error in judgement or intentional. At this point I care more about results than trying to guess anyone's intent. As far as I'm concerned, you and I are good, especially if your report to admin bears fruit.
I look forward to playing this season with most of you, and hope these boards return to something more like their normal state. I also sincerely hope that, one way or another, we're able to have a competitive season here.
