I always liked adiviking's DEs on the Minnesota Marauders (The Wall and Mr. Sack). Definitely solid S1 dots.

Beats down the occasional crappy OT:

(just kidding )

That's the build for Six Bottles Huang....3 sacks, 6 hurries, 2 TFLs, 10 tackles, 3 missed tackles from the RDE spot (splitting snaps evenly with the back up).

That was actually a bug and it has been reported to Bort.

My two RDEs on TKW:
http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=381411 8 tackles 2 sacks
http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=391352 20 tackes 3 sacks

Combined their stats would be "decent", but it's really hard to get excited about 20 tackles and 5 sacks a season.

I'm mildly excited about 20 tackles and 5 sacks

his build is pretty close to six bottles that taut posted, but less vision/tackling and more SAs.

Pretty solid attributes, but SAs are a bit off for that build. Vision is also way too low.

Raise SB to at least 8, 2nd cap vision and your set. Based on this post I have a feeling Taut 3rd caps his vision on all his DE's.

Post fail. Didn't know you showed a build yet. Like expected vision was at/around the 3rd cap.

Because Bort has said that linemen engaged in a block get to do tackling rolls, but aren't recorded as a missed tackle if they fail.

Yeah, until I read that high tackling = making tackles while being blocked, I didn't see the point of high tackling on linemen. But now I'm a believer. Its literally the difference between 1 yard gains and 7 yard gains.

I could go all agl with equip but haven't really bothered with any changes for the past few seasons since he is just on a farm team waiting for his turn.

I like the build, but here's my question:

If he hasn't produced much at the AA level, why do you think he will at the Pro level?

I see this train of thought all the time, and it's an interesting thought process. If a player can't produce against equal competition when he's in his 40s , what will magically change over the last few seasons of his career?

This is what I thought for awhile - high agility with decently high speed. My DE was floating around 105 Agility with 90 Speed at about level 40.

But he wasn't doing anything, so I switched Speed and Agility. He finally started producing against equal competition. It was like a light bulb went on.

Well for his first 6 seasons he only played ST.

It wasnt till last season I finished up his Speed/agl/str

This season I started on SA's

So he really only have 2 seasons of body of work to look at.

One of my extreme case study builds

10 tackles, 7 sacks, 1hurry, and 1 FF in 3 meaningful games out of 6. not pro tho, SA AAA! haha

Impressive base attributes, but what was he doing from S4-S10? Even if he was just playing ST's, he'd have more than 8 tackles in a season.

Also; why no Pass Rusher VA?

A build rounding out.

Edit: It's also a DC thing
