The most dificult position to build would be a "dual" player. Such as a Dual QB who can run and pass equally well like Vince Young. Haven't since a player with these stats yet.

It is, I am working on mine, I think he might end up being a real good QB in 3-4 levels but that will be level 12. Here he is:

(The bad numbers are mostly because he plays on Bort's Wrath)

Yea also you have to use a lot of SP on this type of player in speed, strength, agility, stamina, vision, confidence, throwing and both SA trees.

Good luck with him.

Thanks and I understood when I made him it will take awhile but hopefully he can become a great dual threat which is so hard to gameplan for.

I hope he does too. Would like to see this come to fruition.

I plan on turning my QB into a scrambler sometime in the future, but for now he's going to stay in the pocket until he becomes a great pure passer.

Some positions aren't necessarily tougher to build, it just takes patience to get all of the correct attributes up.

I'll say CB, it's one of the few positions where attributes can actually be too high.

I think NT has been my easiest to make, but my receiver looks really good for his level. My corner (although level 10) looks good, but it took awhile to get there. I have to say its the safety position because they have to do so much.

You have to work on every attribute with a SS.

D-Line. Everything thinks they got the perfect build, yet they still ask for help from the real pros.

Any position where you can't really tell if a player is great or not is hard to build. Try building a CB that only gives up 1 or 2 passes for short gains a game. Is he good or is it just because the QB isn't throwing his way?

And the O-Line is another one. Pancakes aren't great, what you want to see is your O-Line pushing the defence back, but again that's hard to judge.
