Caused talent to leave the league because it became too "pussy." The forums of this league hurt it IMHO

Not even close to the truth. Maybe for 1 team (who couldn't even win their own conference here)

The main reason IMO is the league bias. Soooo many people have thought since the beginning that USAL or CPL or SAPL were the only leagues worth signing their players in so the other leagues got snubbed by many players that have among the best builds. Sure we got some stragglers that were willing to take a chance, but every one of us here has felt the USAPL bias at some point in their recruiting and you are lying if you say you haven't

Bullshit.

People like to harp about the conferences, but both conferences are full of damn good teams.

The same conference homerism occurs here in OPL too. Nothing will ever change that.
As long as their are opinions.....

We'll have to agree to mos definitely disagree on that, everyone always says "Zeta is much tougher". But how often have we seen Alpha win Championships? How many times to people need the facts of life proven to them? It's not about levels, it's not about lolbars, it's about ability to game plan and when you're not winning, even in the case of my own team, it's because you're getting out gameplanned, it has nothing to do with a particular conference.

100% truth. What UBasstards said about the whole "the forum has driven people away". That's a bunch of crap. Sorry but it is. To sit here and say that the reason people won't sign here is because people like Scace want to get Oceania a more prominent spotlight, that's ridiculous. It's 100% because of the region bias that MC is talking about. People think that because technically the game is based out of the U.S. that the "America's" are the only place you can compete, so that's the only place people will sign. It's stupid, it's ridiculous, but it's also the way it is. Unfortunately we all know too damn well that we have to find away to recruit around that existence.

in the WL, zeta has a deeper top of the charts, Alpha is a little deeper in the middle and back end of the league. I personally don't think there are any gimme games in alpha and there definitely are in Zeta.

If I had to rank 'em right now I'd say zeta is better because they have 5-6 teams that could have a legit shot at winning the title this season, with Bonn obviously at the head of the class. Alpha only has 2 serious title contenders imo and they played each other yesterday.

I wasn't referring to Alpha in WL, I was referring to Alpha in general, in every region, because the teams in WL, are from all the regions.

So Cal drops another close one. Interception return killed us. These games are pretty much RNG.

You guys are getting some respect though, everyone I know in WL are giving credit to your defense at least.

Thats because JDros is one of the top 3 DCs in the game.

our defense has kept us in games this season and we've won some close ones, lost some close ones. .500 is probably where we should be right now tbh, although one or 2 of the games we've won we should have lost and vice versa.

Our offense actually did something today but as Patrick said we got screwed by a pick 6....late in the game where we threw 3 straight incompletions there were some dots wide open as well but the QB went elsewhere. If we just got a couple of yards on one of those plays we probably tie it up with a FG. Sucks.
