Why is this even up for discussion? Tebow put up HUGE numbers against quality SEC competition. Davis put up HUGE numbers in the MAC. Davis would more than likely be a good/mediocre QB in a conference like the SEC, whereabouts Tim Tebow, if he played in a conference like the MAC would probably shatter every NCAA division I record to date as far as QB's go.

Tim Tebow > Nate Davis.

Just my $0.02 cents.

and tim tebow plays on a team with great players whiel nate plays on a team with crappy players
so it doesnt exactly make it easier either
but nate davis on a good team like florida i bet he would still be really good

Florida wasn't exactly a "great team". They seriously lacked a running game. Tebow still put up great numbers in what can arguably be considered the strongest conference in NCAA football today. Can Nate Davis claim the same?

The MAC? They aren't even a BCS conference. Why is that?

this year
florida ranked 12th in recruiting
ball state ranked 102nd

florida gets 5 star atheletes
ball state gets 2 star atheletes

tim tebow plays on a better team against better competition
nate davis plays on a worse team against worse competition

this evens things out

Exactly.

Tim Tebow puts up better numbers against much better opposition than Nate Davis does against inferior opponents.

if u would understand wut i just said...
tim tebow has more targets and better targets to throw to and is protected by a better offensive line also
if ur teammates are better than sure u can do more against superior opponents

give nate better WRs and a better OLine then he would be able to put up numbers against stronger opponents to

Davis has also put up solid numbers against BCS teams Nebraska, Rutgers, Illinois, and Indiana all of which made bowl games except Nebraska who was a huge let down

OK, but put him in the SEC and he's going to face a much stronger defensive secondary game by game than he does in the MAC.

put him in the SEC on what team? just because a teams in the sec doesn't mean their good look at ole miss and vandy

and you seem to keep ignoring the fact that nate davis has maybe 2 decent targets at best where as last year tebow had numerous WRs highlighted by andre "bubba" caldwell and percy harvin this year florida is bringing him in will hill (#1 ATH in numourous recruiting lists) and Chris Rainey who is possibly the fastest player in that class

um ok as long as he has a better team then sure
if u acctually watch his games compared to tebows u will see the difference in their passes
nates acctually looks like a pass an nfl palyer would make
while alot of tebows are lobs and passes that would only work in college

please note that my argument form the beginning wasnt that nate is a better college QB than tebow... that isnt true otherwise nate would had the heisman

what i said is that nate will be a better PRO qb
and alot of this not only has to do with nate being a really good qb but also the fact that tebow doesnt have what it takes to be a pro

Put him on...let's say...Vanderbilt.

Do you honestly think he'd still put up the same numbers that he put up in the MAC? If so, I wouldn't hesitate to label you as an individual who is....ahem....out of your fuckin' mind.

no b/c hed still be on a shit team but in a good conference so your just taking more away than your giving

now if we would slap him on lets say Bama, LSU, Arkansas, or Tennessee then he would put up bigger passing numbers than Tebow
