Not my board. Its HBs and back when it was active, it was owners from each team plus GMs that owners wanted to have access.

Absolutely agree with this 100%. It's a shame when people get all caught up in the rankings and feeling slighted or wanting "respect". The rankings don't mean anything once we start playing and it all gets sorted out by the end of the season. If we instead focus on individual matchups, we can avoid most of this kind of fruitless discussion that resembles a popularity contest more than reality.
I also like the idea of playing a couple of regular season games first and then taking another look at where everyone is at. Some teams brought in a lot of new talent, and some teams always end up with larger than average boosts or penalties due to sim tweaks and updates. The idea here is to collectively beat the crap out of another league, not beat up each other trying to climb the imaginary preseason rankings -- we have plenty of time to do the second part in the regular season.
