As you said in an earlier post. We can go round and round. You want to just talk about last season but what about the last 10 seasons. The SEC is the best conference hands down. You keep saying who does the SEC have other than Florida. I posted how many NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS the SEC has over the last 7 season, 4 two for Florida and 2 for LSU, but you looked over that FACT. Since the ACC stole teams from the Big Least they have sucked.

I mean come on you have a team in your conference that runs the wishbone. Join the 21st century. The ACC is not good.

Bama is better then every single ACC team. Only hope V Tech has of beating Bama is their QB is starting his first game, and they better pray he chokes. Besides that they can't compete with Bama at all.

You're being straight up ignorant now, if he couldn't convince you of what everyone knows then check this out and here are some real facts.

The SEC holds an 251-117-10 (.677) all-time advantage vs the ACC.

In recent years (1998-2008) the SEC leads the ACC in head-to-head games with a 47-36-0 (.577) record.

SEC >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> ACC

Oh and since you think the Big 12 is great here are a couple more numbers

The SEC leads the Big 12 in all-time head-to-head match-ups with a 20-17-0 (.541) record.

Over the past 10 years ('98-'07) the SEC holds a 18-16-0 (.529) advantage.

Against the Big 12's predecessor (the Big Eight) the SEC had a 43-43-6 (.500) record.

So stop this nonsense, everyone knows the SEC is dominate. We've represented as National Champion 3 out of the past 4 years. There is no legit agrument that proves otherwise.

I am no math wiz, but that doesn't really look like domination to me.

The truth about "the best conference" is that it changes from year to year. Sometimes the SEC is the best, sometimes, it's not. No arguing that it is consistently strong. You could argue at times in the past 15 years 3 or 4 conferences have been "the best" in a given year.

Oh and here's another fact.

SEC National Championships since 1936(officially when NCAA counts) - 16

ACC.....9

Big 12 is the only conference even close to us on that one. ACC is a joke.

That's great. You're missing the whole point of my argument. Being the best over a span of time =/= being the best at the moment. If you're talking about the best of the decade, yeah, the SEC wins that easily. I've already admitted that. Multiple teams w/ BCS titles is pretty impressive. But, what I'm saying as of RIGHT NOW (i.e. the most recent season), the SEC is not the best conference. They were not nearly as dominant as they had been in the past.

And yeah, the ACC has been rather weak since the expansion (should have taken WV instead of UM!), but they're on their way up, imo. The conference is a lot better than people give them credit for. They held their own against the SEC pretty well last season, and had more teams in bowl games than any other conference (10).

Please tell me where I said the ACC was better all time? You guys are all twisting my words. As a matter of fact, I backed off the whole ACC > SEC comment rather quickly, saying they were pretty even last season.

I'm really not trying to argue that the ACC is greater than any other conference... I'm just arguing that the SEC isn't as great as they have been in recent years.

I agree the SEC was down last season. Did not see your post where you admit SEC dominance

This.

SEC has more of a proven track record year-to-year (specifically recently) of being the "best conference" but for anyone to say they are by far the most dominant conference in the country is completely ridiculous.
