The entire DE crying thing never ceases to amaze me. How is it that some have no problem what-so ever with there player{s} and some just don’t understand what the F--- is going on with there guy.
Have the ones that have the problems with there defensive ends ever thought about taking a long hard look at there players build or actually doing some homework to find out what works and what doesn’t

Have the people who use the same retarded argument ever thought that maybe they have. What would you say is a build that SHOULD work?

Well you just keep thinking along those lines and while my guy records 30+ sacks {again} we can discuss the definition of retarded. Learn how to build a player for this game and you will be fine

Your DE hasn't had any close games whatsover. Your closest game was a 30 point win.

again! This thread quotes numerous agents who have stated they cant get there level 1000 guy to get a sack against an inferior level. So that has no bearing on anything

Some DEs have trouble. My DE Woodley isn't. That's why he's currently first in Defensive MVP Voting in my team's conference. YAY for bragging about your DE beating up on guys 10+ levels lower.

joe, I see your response to my post and since I don't want to add to quote pyramids, I will make a new post.

The same can be said for my build. I've worked a few seasons to create an awesome agility DE and my build isn't rounded either. I don't have enough vision or strength to compete with some OTs in my league, and get pancaked a few times a game as a result. So the same argument can be made for my build. It's all about perspective I guess.

The advantage goes to the OT because the interaction makes it hard for you to pass the OT because of re-engaging the blocks. It's hard to "blow by" the OT any more because they always complete their backstep perfectly and you are forced to engage once and up to 4 times a snap. I obviously don't know how my DE will pan out in the high levels, but I was merely providing some evidence in a cap 24 league that I think is very competitive this season.

Snipped the quoted posts trying to shorten the ridiculous quote pyramid going on.

I was pointing out that you were getting these stats in lopsided games, and I don't feel they should be held up to the same standard as an equal game. We can take all these games when people are outleveled, but I feel the results should include, or have a priority to, close games with evenly-matched OTs and DEs, not players who outlevel each other in the 10 range.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=2519063 Read, then enlighten us please. And yes, we know we could bring our level 40s and 50s to BBB leagues, but not everyone wants to be stuck in BBB once we get past level 32 or so

Tell that to Klarg Williams, an LDE playing in EEA#7. 15 levels superior to most competition, and still sucks. LOL

What dose this mean? Do I need to rebuttal that back with 57 links to the successful DE's? Then what?

Yes, make a rebuttal linking 20 DEs who are having success in leagues with parity and equal level players.

And not one that's on a team who intentionally tanked to go 16-0 in a BBB league, bro.

You guys have outscore your opponents 543-9. Sounds like real parity there.

Again, find 10(down from 20) DEs putting up good sack numbers in a league vs. equal level players with no gutted teams.(or that have not played a gutjob)

EDIT: which really isn't all that hard. Also, can't have more 1 from a single league.

Are you asking for AAA/Pro or for any leagues outside of BBB? Because I've already shown you one

We were reshuffled like allot of teams. The level of my DE isn’t hat much higher than allot of the competition

Let's look at the top level, where we can explicitly say that everyone's build is pumped to the match and everyone is on a level playing field.

Let's look at a routine USAPL blowout: http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=473822

One sack for the winning team. From the FS.

I love when people come in here bragging about how great their player is doing, and then you realize he's beating up on players 12-15 levels lower. Dont beat your chest if you have a level 45 beating up on level 30s, please

Honestly this line of thinking seemed to help DEs get nerfed in the first place. I think in most cases if you went back to S6 filtered out sacks versus gut jobs and underleveled/poorly built backups, the sack numbers were not that bad.

I think he was referring to me, but I am not sure

Well, I mean he could post 10 DEs from BBB but he'd be laughed at.

Pee-wee's pretty fucked up, too.

We got beat by this team entirely of the owner's players, and they outleveled us, and still no sacks.
