I like the idea because it makes home and away games mean something. It will shorten the distance between the records of the top teams and the lower teams. It would give struggling teams hope even late into a season, and reason to continue game planning.
This is a bad suggestion for one reason. Schedules are generated randomly. If I knew I was playing a tough team in my League away this season, but could know that next season they'd have to come to my house I'd be OK with it.
Well, I'm quite new in GLB game, but I've noticed that the best team always win the games, there's no place for luck or surprise, even if both teams are very close from each other.
So maybe the home field advantage could help sometimes, to make games more " fair ", especially in the money time or for the important plays, and as we all know, in the " real life " a good team can lost a game, even if the opposite team is not the best ever....
