Yeah I wouldn't have a problem with +5 Confidence for the home team...

I like the idea because it makes home and away games mean something. It will shorten the distance between the records of the top teams and the lower teams. It would give struggling teams hope even late into a season, and reason to continue game planning.

The one horrible drawback is then would a higher ranked team ALWAYS be able to win at home?

This may have already been brought up but i think that perhaps the more the fans the bigger the bonus.

I would make it limited like this - maybe +5 Confidence, or maybe 3 confidence and 3 stamina...nothing more than that, but some boost makes sense.

less vision for the away team imo to help with crowd noise

nobody plays the same in those stadiums that I listed above and 95% of it is due to the crowd

maybe -1

This is a bad suggestion for one reason. Schedules are generated randomly. If I knew I was playing a tough team in my League away this season, but could know that next season they'd have to come to my house I'd be OK with it.

its still 8 home and 8 road games so why does it matter

Because if you suck as a team and are likely to go 0-16 with no advantage, perhaps you could get it to 1-15 or 2-14 with a few home games.

I was talking about the guy that posted before me

I really think we need homefield

it would make the decision of boosting on day 1 or before the playpffs more important

Well, I'm quite new in GLB game, but I've noticed that the best team always win the games, there's no place for luck or surprise, even if both teams are very close from each other.

So maybe the home field advantage could help sometimes, to make games more " fair ", especially in the money time or for the important plays, and as we all know, in the " real life " a good team can lost a game, even if the opposite team is not the best ever....
