They only have about 4 teams capable of hanging with the top 8 or so in US Pro. We drew the Waxers, who are second in their conference and on paper it is a huge mismatch. We will see how it plays out.

Anyway, they ranked their teams, I ranked our teams based on record and drew random amongst teams with even record at the time we set the matchups. There were a group of teams that could have played the Krazy Monkeys, but if it wasn't LVF then they would have been the ones with the weak draw so it doesn't make much difference.

The 2nd and 3rd tiers of these other Pro leagues are far inferior to US Pro. The top teams are very close, and even better in some leagues, with the difference being there are fewer top teams. In some cases only 2-3 per league.

I suppose, but when/if we do it with CPL we can't just be randomly drawing and based on records.

Why not just do Top 8 vs 8 and have all the playoff bound teams from the two conferences play?

CPL does not seem interested in this challenge. You could probably get the conference challenge done, since there is a lot of talk on the forums about which is better.
