A team (meaning owners and players) earn a normal promotion and earn a normal demotion.
However, when there are special circumstances, like .. there is an owner but no players, then it ceases to be a team, the team that was promoted and deserved to be demoted like a normal team loses that right, because it is no longer a normal team. Had he had players it would have been completely different, then Bort would have never demoted him, because he would have deserved to earn demotion like your team is this season ddd, but when you are no longer a team with players, then you no longer fall under normal rules that apply to normal teams and normal circumstances.
Im not sure why people cant get that through their head. Had it been Cincinnati and Kenyon didnt gut and sell, Bort wouldnt have done anything and told me that Im being too ambitious and a bit of a jerk for trying to remove a team with a full roster.
However, thats not what Bort did, he said that a "team" devoid of being a normal team shouldnt be here.
Whatever I think about the competitiveness of other teams such as Washington and Minsk Koats, Bort doesnt really care about.
