Nice work, Jay! Remind me again, what player and owner did you model The Poz after? It was one of cali's guys right? He's basically the only guy you could ever want to listen to.

Regrettably, I am modeling him after the horribly mediocre LB you build.

Clearly that has been a mistake thus far.

Gz on getting all the players finally. 3 seasons to go!

Let me guess the concept. And me and Cali have had our run ins too.

Having very few agents my guess is this.

Take the whole slow building team like everyone knows to a T. Avoid Stamina for 3 seasons.. MAKE your players train intense for 3 seasons stockpile bonus tokens for three seasons in special equipment. Then start season 4 sell the equipment and boost your players 3x then an average of another 3 or 4x's with the bonus tokens cashed in. It was an idea I thought of when I started getting my owners together to make my new team but I thought that asking my agents to do that with their training would be too much to ask. Honestly i thought this would be the way to go but truly just selling your old equipment and buying a bigger piece would be a better idea.

thats my guess

Nope. It's way too complicated of a process to guess in one try. Although you do have a couple correct concepts, as in, they are kind of right in the idea of them, but not entirely right in the details of it.

I guess this is just a nicer way of saying "you're wrong".

The way-too-complicated process is essentially this:

Cali has a list of attribute targets for major and minor skills.

You start with, say, throwing. He asks you to hold points (duh) until you can get it up to 68 SP naturally. Meanwhile, use the intense training combo that trains throwing and the next skill down the list. When throwing is at 68, move on to Attribute B and simultaneously train Attributes B & C until Attribute B is at 60. Then train C & D til C is at 48. Then train D & E until D is at 48. Continue until the major and minor skills are capped at least at 48 (sometimes just 40, in the case of stamina at most positions).

Yeah, but it won't work right Rockets? Gotta have that 40 stamina and 40 confidence asap!!!

edit: It's basically a combination of slow building and power building. Power building (glbwiki it) is the best method in my opinion for getting players competitive asap and slow building is the best method to build the best players long term so in essence, by extending the power building method to include all relevant positions... It will definitely take awhile, but considering our team's major skills will be higher at every position than what anyone else could feasibly have, I still think its a great idea. It's too bad ICRockets and his loyal gang of Buffalo Bills drones couldn't comprehend the value of it and in turn, give away our plan. But I think once our stamina is built up around mid to late season 2 for most positions, people will see the value of what we're doing.

Again, cali, my primary problems weren't with the plan. I certainly did have problems with it, but that wasn't the crux of the issue. That was the fact that the plan didn't fit the pitch, and the execution was too abrasive for my tastes.

We were told that it would take approximately 2 seasons, and after that time we'd be free to build how we want with considerable flexibility. I did some math, and realized this wasn't the case. Rather than address this concern, you made it clear that the team is a dictatorship in every conceivable way. The player agents are the employees, and you are the boss, right? Problem is, you're not paying them shit. All they're doing is wasting their flex to do your bidding. If I were to be treated with some modicum of respect, or at least NO modicum of DISrespect, then we could very well be on better terms than we are right now. Instead, you saw fit to berate and ridicule me and my colleagues in every medium available to you (public forums, private forums, team forums, PMs, even AOL Instant Messenger). Simply put, that is why I now think you're an arrogant, despicable prick. I couldn't care less if your plan works, because my GLB experience will be drastically improved purely because I am not required to be subjected to your childish drivel any longer than I choose to be.

Not to get in the middle of this epic cock fight, but is he telling you to ignore softcapping for the benefit of auto leveling points?

That's what it sounds like anyway.

I'm glad to see the roster is done.
I look forward to seeing them get promoted to BBB in season 10.

Not if I understand your question, no. He's asking them to uber-softcap, putting major skills to the 2nd or 3rd softcap. In theory, it's great. But in practice it extends the build significantly, and as you get to around level 30 and there are exploits for more well-rounded builds to use, they're going to. At the lower levels around 19-22, obviously those builds are incomplete. So then it only makes sense for the incomplete builds that dramatically emphasize major skills are to be more talented than the incomplete builds that have things more evened out.
