Mike didn't have a whole lot of control over that - he's now buried at fifth on the depth chart at WR behind 3 CPU players (levels 8, 6, and 4) and the owner's own WR (level 5); and he's no longer listed on any special teams unit.

A source within the Flying Monkeys organization with knowledge of the Michael Erwin situation, speaking on the condition of anonymity, confirms that Emerald City's owner, Thorrig, and King Smitty are currently in negotiations regarding a possible trade for talented but vocal receiver. The source went on to say that an agreement could be signed in the next few hours; but declined to discuss the details of what Emerald City is offering to acquire Erwin's services. This just in - in a surprise move the San Francisco Demons have dealt former starting receiver Michael Erwin to... someone else! Details are few at this time, but what is known is that Erwin was NOT dealt to the Flying Monkeys as had previously been believed. Apparently, a third party that has yet to be disclosed swooped in and got a deal done to acquire Erwin's services.

As to Emerald City's reaction, they have released this statement to the media:

"Obviously, we are extremely shocked to hear that King Smitty has chosen to a team other than Emerald City. It is our belief that our offer was a fair one and we believe we made it clear to the Demons that we were willing to negotiate for the rights to Mr. Erwin to both parties' satisfaction. It is unfortunate that a deal could not be worked out between us; but that's business. We will continue to remain in contact with Michael's agent so that he may remind him of our organization's interest in bringing him to Emerald City as soon as possible. Thank you."

Where did you get traded to anyway? As an outsider I have no idea where you're headed so that I can contact that owner about trading for you (and give him a "finder's fee" of sorts for getting you loose from the Demons).
