If the request is for no sim changes, just a limited roster (based on whatever Bort's hard-coded minimum is) then what really is the hold up? Create one league and see how it goes.

So much time has passed that I have lost track, but I believe everyone seems ok with 20 man rosters and no change to the OOP coding so there really aren't any technical issues - right?

Based on what we're hearing from Bort, the problem is he still thinks we want 15 man rosters (which he can't or can't easily do).

And we haven't been able to get word to him either.

hm since we know that the 20man limit is there its been fairly uninomous thats just how its is and thats been so for quit some time
i can not belive that he hasn`t alleast seen that its been accepted as a fact

He's already been in this thread so he has no reason to come back. And unless someone is able to tell him, he just goes on believing that 20 is too much for this to work.

That's why I'm thinking about posting something in GLB main. Unfortunately there's a rule against "Hey Bort! Look at this!" type threads.

The question is whether something like "Hey Bort, 20 man roster limits are fine for Iron Man Leagues!" would fall under that category.


EDIT: Hey it looks like that Q&A is still going on. I posted the question in there, hoping for some sort of confirmation.

I've heard rumblings about this movement, but hadn't seen this post until now.
Anyway, Iron Man would be cool. I dig that aspect of Arena League.

Hopefully, that one will be announced well in advance (I would assume it will be).

Judging by the link TrevJo provided, it looks like no questions will be answered pertaining to suggestions and when they will be implemented, etc. Unless I'm reading it wrong...

Well, if any of the Mods are reading this still then they should get word to him. 20 Man rosters will work for all of us who are wanting this to get done. Is there a rule against a simple reminder or ok to Support who can in turn get a message to Bort? There is a lot of steam here for this idea and really a no lose system for him if he knows we are in line with his rules and code.

noone of power cares about anything unless they want to suck up to bort.

not enough players as is it , dont need any more teams right now
