Is there anyone can create a greasemonkey script to filter out everything but script descriptions and links from this thread? 84 pages!!! daaaamn thats a lot to sift through :-P

I kid, naturally... But it would be cool if we could get a separate, locked, stickied thread with just a list of scripts out there.

First Page, first post has this link to the forum where us dev types hang out and each script has it's own thread
http://glbscripts.myfreeforum.org/index.php

It's not that cool as he makes it sound like it is.

Is there a script for what type of plays the defense performed? Zone? Man? Nickel? Dime? Blitz? Etc?

No. This information isn't included in any play description, so you'll have to just watch the replays to learn this.

Thank you. Just thought I would ask.

Back to the replay page.

Thanks for the quick turnaround, much appreciated. Thanks again.

Wrath, if you can't fit it in the default little window you are typing entirely too much!

Yeah, make sure this goes out to the folks who clog the main forums with threads full of a chain of PMs outting people. It'll make it easier for them

Is there anyway someone can write something that will allow owners to sort their players by attributes? For example, if I want to order my roster by the fastest players, I could select the speed attribute from a drop down or something and it would sort by that attribute rather than clicking on each player individually and looking at their attributes.

I'm not sure if that would require everyone on your team to have their attributes open or not, but hopefully it could be done.

Thanks

It would require everyone to have open stats and also cause a server page load for every player everytime the script ran. Probably one of those ones that is too server intensive to actually make. Now if Bort added a "stats" list like the team leaders, but have each column be their stat (or N/A if hidden) and make that sortable, it would be cool.

Is there a replay script that doesn't have the first down marker and just goes to next play?

The first down marker has now been incorporated into GLB's replay code itself per Bort's announcement. You'd have to ask someone to write a script to hide it at this point. The replay cycle scripts have always included the first down marker as far as I know.

Yeah I know, which is why I asked if someone had a script without it

I was able to figure out what part of the code the first down marker was and removed it and it works to change the play now

Then you might want to post your modified script so others could do the same if they don't like the 1st down marker.

OK I've got a question about a script I think would be incredibly useful.

This is my idea, and tell me if this would be either A) Too hard to write or B) Too server intensive.

How about a "True Stats" link next to the stats of every player? You would clink the link, and it would bring you to a separate page that would calculate the statistics of players when playing vs. evenly matched teams--evenly matched, meaning within 3 Overall Points of your team (So a 33 team vs. a 30 team, or a 33 vs. a 36, but not vs. a 39 or 27).

Now, there's a script in existence that shows the difference between your team's overall and another team's right on the main team page. So I would think this existing program could help in the development of this new one.

This could help when scouting, and could really make stats mean something. For once.

And by the way, if this wasn't already clear, you'd put the true stats on a separate link so that they wouldn't have to load each time you clicked a player. That would mean that your GLB use wouldn't get slowed down by the app. loading even when you don't need it.

If this isn't possible, just let me know. If it is possible, how great would it be if stats actually meant something for once?

Computer illiterate here.

On the main page instead of showing "Loan"....is there a way to replace it with "finances" on both my team and GM'ed teams?

Thanks.

No one?
