We tried to do various things to get the depth chart to stick, I could never get my DC to stay.

For my games I used 20 guys. I filled every slot on O and D two deep. One game I only filled the basic ST positions using some but not all of the 20 men. Another game I filled every ST slot with at least one man using all 20 guys.

OAI and DAI were turned off, only basic settings were used. One game energy was set to 1/2 another it was set to 98/99. No custom depth chart slots were used.

If anyone has tried a 20 man scrim and had luck I'd like to compare notes.

At this point I'm just assuming nothing will come of this brilliant idea. That way I won't be disappointed when someone higher up gives this the official "NGTH".

I assumed nothing would ever come of it the minute it was moved out of Epic simply because they didn't have a category that it would fit into. When I complained that sending it back into the main forum came across as a passive-aggressive way to tell us to shut up, I was assured that this idea would be re-considered at a later date and that it wasn't just going to die.

People still come here to bump this thread, and they don't do it at my request ... they do it on their own and they do it because they really like this idea and wish GLB would take a moment to seriously consider it.

And I can't understand why anyone would ever think that the Suggestions Forum is "working as intended" when an idea as popular as this one has been consistently since it was first introduced is completely ignored. And there are plenty more very good, simple ideas out there being just as consistently ignored.

I'm starting to wonder if having a Suggestions Forum is even a good idea at all.

Yes, I'm frustrated. I've waited patiently for someone to get back to me about the status of this idea, if it's feasible, if it's still being considered as a possibility, if it's NGTH for the logistical coding reasons that were mentioned before (even though the 20-man limit instead of 15 has been widely considered acceptable by the majority of its supporters).

Instead, it has become completely ignored.

I really am getting bored with this game and with this idea of iron leagues, i probably would be more active and spend more money.
I and along with many others haven't spent money on this game for about 3 seasons due to the lack of giving the ppl what they want

and yet again i bump this for about the 20th time

Same here. My spending has also stopped and I'm only using flex from retired players at this point. This idea would go a long way towards me once again spending money.

I'm creating one "last" new player tonight due to a commitment I made to an online friend a few weeks back--if I weren't a man of my word, I wouldn't even bother since there's really nothing new or even "interesting" about players at the lower levels of the game. My interest in this product is probably one-fourth what it was a few months back. The introduction of Iron Man leagues would at least make the experience of building lower-level players interesting again.

Hear hear so true ( yes i left out a bunch but that hit the spot )
curently i am on a rebuild spree with a few fellows teammates but this seems to be mostly done on retirement flex
so spicing it up would help a lot to getting some more cash in the kitty

Has anyone actually PMed Knick about this? He was the one with the assurances of bringing this back to Bort's attention.

Based on the changelog, test results, and this thread http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=3698413&page=6, it looks like Bort has quite a bit on his plate right now. This may be why we aren't hearing anything relative to this upcoming season.

Add me to the list. I'd take my Cosmos team there.
