Good game Rangers...you put up a good fight, especially in the second half.

I'm a bit surprised that the scoring in your game today was so high. I figured it'd be another low scoring game.

Looks like I just didn't setup my offense correctly against you =/

Or maybe their offense is better....makes no difference to us what the score is as long as we come out on top.

The Rangers did a good job of controlling the line of scrimmage and hitting a couple of big plays on two posessions, but we won the turnover battle and capitalized on it. Unfortunately for them they have a fatal flaw and we knew that so we took advantage of it.

Well I haven't seen anyone mention the New Brunswick Sentinels, who are having a pretty decent season themselves.

Thats alright intoxx Im okay if they overlook us, even though with our record I doubt many teams will.

Pretty decent, indeed.. and i do not envy your final stretch at the end of the season at all. You have to play almost all the teams ahead of you at a time when everyone will be trying to secure playoff spots.

Tell me about it I am the GM of The New Brunswick Sentinels and we are just hoping to have secured a decent enough cushion of wins before we hit that part of the schedule. We will definitely have our hands full but I have faith in my team, and I am actually looking forward to the games against the Hitmen, Vendetta, 12th Man and Tornado Humpers.

Yeah, that was a good game. We've got a log jam at 7-1 teams now. Got to reduce those turnovers, can't win when you turn the ball over like that.

Not to mention, should you make it to the playoffs, those teams you play in that stretch will probably be the same teams you play again in the playoffs.

Having said that, I don't think I'll ever be able to take you seriously again..

heh he is a cpu but he is also leading the league in tackles and doing good for forced fumbles. Not bad for a 30k purchase I think. My teammates love him 8)

I'm not sure its as valid as it would be in the real world, but found this interesting:

We have a six team race for the top, and then all the rest appear to be fighting for the last two playoff spots.

Of the top 6, here is the combined record of who they have played so far:

Rochester - 23/41
Missouri - 35/29
H-Town - 26/38
North Tex - 25/39
Round Rock - 24/40
New Brunswick - 22/42

Of the top 6, Missouri has played 4 of the others (except Rochester). H-Town has played 2 (Rochester and Missouri). The other four have only played 1.

That tells me that the second part of the schedule is going to be a bloodbath, with many of the top teams facing each other multiple times. It should be pretty exciting. It may allow one of the teams from the bottom to separate, also, since their schedules will be easier.

Should be fun, I'm looking forward to it.

What this neglects to mention is of those top 6, they have mainly all won against the same teams in the bottom 6. (Meaning it may just be those teams were unlucky with a tough starting schedule)

The next 3 games for Rochester are 7-1, so it is certainly a fun part of the schedule for us, I look forward to it, and I'm sure they have been watching us for a couple weeks at least =)
