a) Nobody has offensive AI ability other than myself, until the last 2 games when wsdp has taken over for me.
b) Before I chilled off GLB a bit I preloaded a flawed but potentially effective AI.
c) Not hard to see from the 23rd to 29th we went 2-2 in USA Pro and 4-3 in our scrimmages for a total of 6-5 in the time I wasn't doing anything to the settings.
Call it whatever you want, but we coasting in that time.
Listen guys, the problem with using these scrimmages to say that the BBB compares or is better then the USA Pro is this: A huge part of why a lot of USA Pro teams are so good is because of A grade scouting. Owners in the pro have either had great enough scouting to stay in the league, or to work themselves into it (obviously this doesn't count some teams that have random new owners). But yet when you play these scrimmages, I guarantee you most of the time the Pro team is far more focused on games that actually matter and not pointless (though admittedly fun) scrimmage games. If a Pro team and a BBB team played in a game that actually mattered, energy was counted like in a normal game, and both teams scouted the game like it mattered, I think we'd see a whole different outcome.
Originally posted by pitchkid20 I think there is a misunderstanding on what my original post was about:
I was just announcing that Philly had beaten the Aces in a scrimmage. I wasn't implying that the ocho was better than Pro. We obviously have some real lightweights down there. I just meant that the best BBB teams can roll with the Pro's
Boston Nighthawks decided to pick up the Gauntlet and Defend the USA Pro's honor. We didnt bother with a low ranked team, we took the Best in a Conference. We were only the 4th Best team in the Rankings in our Conference this season. We did nothing fancy we just ran the ball. Sorry we saved all our game planning time for the upcoming DDL playoff game. http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=128011
