TSE, you should take a look at the new team in the East, the Boston Nighthawks. The owner has 26 of his own players on the team...now that's makes Tim's 6 players look a HELL of a lot more respectable.
I don't think it makes Tim's team look more respectable, it does in terms of comparing the Nighthawks to the Mustangs, but still for what most people have been considering the top 10 teams, according to SI's ranking system, Tim isn't really competing with them at this moment for being in the top end of teams, so for the top 10 tier in the GLB world it doesn't affect his team's image within that group at all.
But yeah the Nighthawks are definitely not doing anything impressive over there at all. No doubt they may end up winning a lot of games, I wouldn't be shocked if they had a top 4 seed either, but yeah they won't get any props in my book with that many players on their team.
But another key point is that Tim's top 5 players are among the highest levels in the game. If the Nighthawk's owner wanted to trade his guys away and recruit new guys, he could find a lot of players that are 1 or 2 levels higher than most of those guys. So it's not as much of an advantage than to have the pure 1st generation ringers. So he gains a little bit of respect back because the tradeoff of not having different players and having slightly lower level players is that he's giving up a lot of talent overall. If it's 1 level for 26 players, that's 130 team SPs he's missing out on, so he's not fully capitalizing on his ringers in a sense. But since the quantity is high and the guys are really close to top levels available, yeah he's definitely not doing anything special over there in Boston.

How are his players ringers. Or for that matter anyone who played in Alpha Season. We got like a week on you guys and thats it. As far as ringers go if team really wanted he could bring his Qb in and dominate. His reciever even took a backseat to allow some of the other recievers to play. Like we said we have been playing with him since Alpha so whats the problem with that. I am sure you have had players with you since Day 1 for your team. Dont try and say we dont deserve where we are because Tim has players on the team.

a week of games is like 3 levels at least bro cmon now
I pretty much covered my rationale earlier in this thread. Day 1 players for any team aren't the same as Day 1 players of GLB's creation. He has 6 of those type of players and they are his own players. If he has 40 players on his roster, that means 15% of the team is Day 1 ringers. Thus, my call-out of the thread is just a friendly challenge to see if he can win in this game with skill and strategy, rather than his own ringers, cause he's not accomplishing anything meaningful or worthy of props at the present moment.

We'll find out this season if his skill and strategy is any good

Yes but you guys make up the difference pretty quick so it really doesnt matter. all we have is more experience. Look at Saris kicker Ray Finkle he is a Level 31 by far the best in the game. What day did he start thats right the same as you guys. Dont whine about this shit.
