Jackals came thru the group of death to be here and are a quality franchise. The gap between teams at CL is small and Im not surprised to see them hanging tough.

Yes they are, agree thats not a surprise.

I dont think they ever had any affiliations either, iirc, benefits of network etc. I could be wrong about that but I dont remember any. We played together off and on in the early days

Okay, I think my status as Ultimate Darth Plagueis Doubter is pretty firmly established at this point, but 0 catches on 7 targets feels like... such an odd result that I don't know how much stock to place in it, y'know? That is a BIG statistical outlier.

EDIT TO ADD: I just watched all 7 targets. 6 of them were throws into double or triple coverage, usually provided by a Safety who was in perfect position to slide over and make a play on the ball. All 7 targets were deflected.

Masterful work by the Jackals defense.

When you have a star receiver only in WR3 someday someone will cover him. Better to change him position and play somewhere else to surprise them. Just saying...

There is another non star WR but equally fast that moves outside doing damage.

Looks like defenses are struggling in CL as a whole. Can't say I blame them, some of those offenses are crazy.

Thanks Wise. I have to admit that I was expecting to play well, but this outcome was more than surprising. Always a lot of respect for you, and what you bring to the game. I doubt you remember but many, many moons ago you were an Assistant OC for the Jackals during one of our WL seasons.

Meahwhile, Florida Frenzy out there averaging 48 points per game, 13 more than the runner-up, and starting exactly zero brag threads about it.

It's almost like there's an exactly-negative correlation between number of brag threads posted and number of trophies won.
