Bort is a great coder and came up with an amazing concept. I don't care if he ever posts or makes announcements. I would however love to see the game run by a professional management company of some kind that does not involve in family or friends. There is no accountability the way it currently is being run. Family businesses have a lot of difficult challenges. An outside management team could manage, advertise, and grow the game and let Bort and family concentrate on the coding and development side of WG. As average players it feels no one cares about us as customers, which we are and current admin need to be empowered a bit more.

Considering they couldn't afford to keep catch I doubt a professional management team is in the cards. Unless they sold the rights to which this game would grow into a giant pile of crap like all the other competitors professionally backed the last 6 years.

Maybe some kind of progressive incentive based partnership based off revenue. A low risk profit sharing type thing. Someone who would be willing to invest in Bort's brain.

It just seems to me that you are turning your back on the "good" to embrace the mediocre. Which is a head-scratcher TBH.

I agree this game is still keeping people interested even though is starting to wane....On the other hand GLB2 been there done that not even remotely interested in going back.....You don't get ride of you 67 Chevy just because of Carburetor issue you find a way to fix it and make it better....

Are you hoping to gain a completely new user base for upcoming projects? Or might it make sense to gain a real following for your brand by supporting the games that you create? That would require a few major changes I would think......


OK, if he can't talk WGG (since there AREN'T going to be major changes to GLB1 any time soon and you don't want to hear about the other projects we're developing), then what exactly do you want to hear from Bort about? Like, can you give us an example of the kind of thing you're looking for?

Yeah, rolling out new features like mini-games, LC custom stadium, weather, and such for the original is soooo stupid. Making a questionable second version of the original is a much better idea.

Let's face it, had GLB2 not been such a turd we may not even be having this conversation.

Yeah devoting a lot of development time to this game wasn't working. Unless you're going to claim the game grew between 2010 and GLB2 release?

WGG has seen an improvement on number of users since GLB2 release. Adding frivolous things to this game like an arbitrary weather system would amount to...nothing.

We are going to keep it running for as long as people are still playing it including the servers and support staff but you're insane if you think we are going to apologize for making new games, immediately shut them down and come crawling back to GLB1.

Are you still trying to act like Bort didn't give up on this game like 5 years ago?

It's like a self-fulfilling prophecy.
