4th & 7 on Denver's 30 and they slam it up the gut with a backup running back, from the most basic formation in the playbook. That was just laying low rather than embarrassing Denver 57-8, which was a real possibility.

Typical Whiners fan, can't even give props when D was one of three most dominant in the last 30 years. Spin it however you like but the Seahawks won convincingly in every phase of the game and delivered big-time. They stuffed Denver's record setting offense.

This was an easy SB to call the winner for because of the matchup. Manning is the master at deciphering disguised coverages. Seattle lines up with virtually no deception, just smash mouth, in your face D.

fwiw, SF was the 2nd best team in the league this year.

What does me not giving their defense props have to do with anything? Not even talking about their defense...Yes on the second 4th down they went for they did run the ball. The first one they threw on 4th & 1...

All false. They ran a fake punt that one guy on the field was suppose to call when he saw them in a certain formation. This was a call before the game even started because they felt like there was an easy weakness. And he was going for it on 4th down because if u get the first the clock keeps moving but if u made a fg then u have to kickoff. No point in risking them to return one. Also Tavares Jackson was in there on that 4th down drive. U really think they run up the score with back ups?

This is not all false...they ran a fake punt last season against Arizona in the 4th quarter and beat them 58-0, and the following week against the Bills and they won 50-17...what are you even talking about?

One of the best defenses in a long time led the way to a dominating win. The blowout was not a shortcoming of Denver, it was a triumph by the World Champions; end of story. The better team won and they are considerably better.
Credit is due, whether a few envious douche bags in this thread want to give it or not.
Game, set, match to the Seahawks

ask anyone thats not a seattle fan if they liked the game. With all the hype on the game you except superbowls to be more competitive, Denver either had the wrong game plan, or just wasn't ready to play period

Sorry for being so damn good. TBH, I knew that the NFC Championship game was going to be the better game. Neither AFC team was going to stand a chance against Seattle or San Francisco.

Sorry, Seattle just isn't remotely interesting to anyone outside Seattle. Denver isn't much better.

Well, that's just ignorant.

The #1 offense of the season is 0-48 on winning the Super Bowl.

It's true. Over the years, and even recently, I have never heard anyone talking about the Seahawks outside of the last couple of weeks. I understand Seahawks fans can't grasp this but it's true. Seahawks are not a national team like the Bears, Redskins, Cowboys, Packers...
