I just took a quick look at the standings again. lolGLB's team won their last game and lolGLB is in first place now! I guess that's why the whining stopped, right? Looks like my argument that winning affects the MVP race more than you think is valid after all. He still doesn't deserve a trophy for obvious stat-padding, though.
Point me to a player who has had such a disparity in stats, ever. You are trying to make comparisons to history where a comparison doesn't exist. No player has ever had such an overwhelming advantage in stats as lolGLB does to the other dot. The media and coaches aren't as narrow-minded as you. If that were to happen, it wouldn't matter if the team is bad. It would be too impressive to ignore.
And he likely took the lead back because he put up 10 TDs last game compared to the 0 TDs put up by Atwater. He now has 9600 more yards and 91 more TDs (blowout adjusted) than Atwater. lolGLB is also in first place in every category except for total punt return yards where he is in second place, 600 yards behind a dot who has over four times as many punt returns.
Who are you accusing of cheating? I know something is screwy with the MVP calcs in that league, but I never said Atwater's agent is cheating. I think it's just a bug.

Even that doesn't work always
MVP should be renamed to trophy for "whoever-is on-worse-team-and-has-better-KR-adj.stats".
