Thats a big word...so if a non-playoff WL team doesn't request to stay...they stay up? I didn't realize that, but clearly that must be the case if:

If the next WL team doesn't make a request then it goes to the one after that and the one after that and the one after that. For a Pro team to take the spot would require that zero non-playoff WL teams make the request, which isn't going to happen.

Though i would say if the WL team didn't win at least 5 games they shouldn't be allowed to make a request to stay.

I would prefer if a Pro team got the spot anyway, but Bort has made up his mind.
