There are very few people in GLB who can do everything and do it all very well. I'm good at a lot of things, but I will always lose to teams that have people in the positions who are great at those things.

Thanks TT i feel the love

It is kind of amazing how much money that takes. I've spent a ton on GLB and I couldn't even come close to filling a one man team of boosters.

it sure is.... I told myself if publishers clearing house comes to my door and gives me the big check I will field my own team of dots..lol

NFL owners have enough money to own more than one team but don't. it's not about money but about ethics. An agent that builds all the dots for a team had better win multiple titles to even sniff being worth it IMO

im pretty sure the nfl owners get a say in who can buy a team dont they?

I am torn about this. I love it because you have full control, but it isn't fun without other people involved. I love when you have the best OC, DC & ST coach in the bushiness http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=211. I would build all the players for that team of agents as they want them built !!!!!

"I approve this message."

Basically running a self manned 55 roster team without any GMs is like trying to operate a puppet that has 25+ independent functions that sometimes are in motion at the same time.

One move this way, something over there may get screwed up and visa versa. Tried it myself for about 2 seasons and it was as bad as entering 20 league survivors, and remembering to make your picks daily... occasionally missing a few picks.

It is cumbersome and agonizing, especially having to look at them from rookies to "whatever you want to call the lower tier levels" and having it drag on and on and on. Winning will be the only thing that will keep you motivated, and like someone said... nobody else is there to criticize and give tips, that also goes for giving you motivation.

Best thing to do is try it, if it doesn't work out you will still have dots to spread out and around.

Honestly, if you want to win a 75x75 jpeg of a trophy that bad...you should...no insult implied.

I mean, how many people do you know that are absolute experts on building QB, HB, FB, TE, WR, G, T, C, DT, DE, LB, SS, FS, K, P, and STOPs? Not even to mention the variations within each position (blocker, scat, elusive, power, speed, ect...).

I know myself pretty good

But did you build yourself? What archetype are you? What skill did you pump up first? And what AEQ are you wearing?

I've owned teams with just my own dots and I can promise you there are drawbacks as well as the benefits.

I've run my own League Underground team and did okay, but I'm not a very good DC. So it was a lot easier having someone I work with run the defense while I ran the offense. Biggest advantages to doing this for me are: I don't care if my receiving HB doesn't get a ball thrown to him all season, I know exactly what my player's tactics are set at, I only have one person to blame if that build plan didn't work out, and I hate recruiting.

I know people always bring up the fact that there is no one in the team forum to share the glory with, I post in the League Forums to make up for that. If I get bored there, I'll check the Tournament forums. If that gets boring, I'll check my league survivor. Or you could always just OC more teams

bud I do not know your coordinators at all. but I would put Cernet, Bhall, JDBolick, evileyez,jpjn94, DPride,Dr.MaoMao, AC, Spider, ghuffman, Hcreek, Lemdog, JT, Mwoods, Hays23 and really a whole lot more coordinators ahead of the guys you listed. no offense to you or your teams coordinators. but before you claim to have the best you guys need to beat the best.

You listed def 2 of the best in JP, and AC.

Edit: And thanks NB.

Thanks for the mention, but that list should only have my name on it for the lolminors. I haven't done anything in the Pros in a long time. But give me a couple more seasons and we'll see what the Chiefs can do
