you literally have to click like 4 times so you dont promote... it doesnt get any easier.

And that's a faulty assumption for Bort to make, since not all owners try to field competitive teams.

But they don't care, because the system is working at a level they're willing to accept. To their credit, I'd say about 90% of the teams go where they're supposed to go, but the 10% that don't really stand out. But cutting into that 10% would require more effort than they're willing to expend.

lol...their personal cares about competing is irrelevant. They have the option to to decline promotion. GLB is not responsible for that. They expect this team is competing to win. How is that such a hard concept to grasp?

Then what is the point? Strip them of their teams then.

Oh you can't because they are paying customers so they fall into a category with any other team trying to win.

Tell that to my team's owner. Even better, have "things you should know before you own your first team" message sent to new owners. Thing is, that still won't prevent owners who don't give a damn from allowing this to happen.

If Bort and Catch aren't willing to put in the effort to move uncompetitive teams out of Natty Pro and Elite leagues, what makes you think they'd be willing to put in the effort to take uncompetitive teams away from their owners? Either way, it would require eyes-on analysis and human intervention -- which Bort and Catch have already shown they're unwilling to commit to this issue.

All they want is to push a button that puts 90% of the teams in the right places. And they have that button. As far as they're concerned, they "fixed" this over 10 seasons ago.

If you are an owner at this stage of the game and you don't know that to not promote you have to decline. You probably shouldn't have a team.

so then dont fucking complain that your team is getting slaughtered. youre lazy, not GLBs fault.

i feel like im talking to a 4 year old and trying to explain algebra to him when in reality, this is probably the most simple thing to do in GLB.

i wish i could just strip that guy of his team and release all the dots so you could go play in the dleagues and stop whining.

I was joking. Because they can't do that. They don't have the right to tell a team they aren't going to be competitive enough in the upcoming season so they can't be promoted. They are paying customers and have just as much right as anyone else on that matter.

Well, there is a precedent for them limiting team ownership: the old team waiting lists. It's their game, and they can decide who is and isn't allowed to own teams. And as long as they give a full Flex refund to anyone who gets stripped of their team, they'd be fine.

It's also irrelevant anyway, joking or not, because they'll never be willing to put that much effort into that aspect of the game.

At this point, GLB pretty much needs all the owners they can get.

so if you had your team from rookie to pro and got stripped of it and then they give you flex for the current season, it would be fine? what the fuck.

The waiting lists =/= good ownership. Just less ownership. So that doesn't do anything.

The human eye test doesn't read the future of a team. It isn't on Bort or Catch or any of the admins to demote teams who qualified for promotion.

Why are the admins so vehemently against a 2nd shuffle?
