I think the issue is the precedence this sets and with it, I think we can kiss ROTY goodbye before it even had a chance. Thanks for the idea Phantom but what started as something good turned rather quickly as evidenced here.

I hope this doesn't deter anyone from doing something similar in the future.

It was a great idea but left up to unregulated voting it is nothing more than a popularity contest. If you're not part of a network there is no point in entering. Truely impressive dots like the one Kop posted would never have a chance. I hope phantom just fixes the way voting works and continues.

The fact Ellis is a liar and this "tournament" gets a trophy is what enrages me and may be the last straw in my exodus from this game.

I think this thread is one of the best I have seen in a while.

This game has become so boring it is not even funny. I love the ideas of bringing more stuff to the game and this ROY was a great idea. But as usual, these things aren't completely thought through from the beginning.

MITH is like a beta/alpha tester, he loves to jump on ideas and find the flaws in them. Some people get butt hurt over it but in reality it makes things better if you think about it.

Coming up with a ROY idea is great, and now Phantom will have some publicity on this because of all the "butthurtness".
My bet is 80% of this game had no idea this was going on, and the only reason i saw is is because of MITH's spam.

TBH this is the best thing that happened to ROY, come up with a bullet proof idea. Think of all the possible ways to exploit first.

I kinda liken MITH it to a ferral Cat at Pissing all over the place, you smell that shit and now you have to go do something about cleaning it up and neutering it to make it stop

This is why I play now tbh. I dont care about winning anymore. This game is a neverending loop cashsink yadda yadda yadda game to me now. I play to have fun on forums. Thats what this game needs the most now anyways is great forum personalities that can keep people logging in and interested.

Not sure if you know this or not but I've been banned in this game 77 times now. I don't see much favoritism. It's called when I do things I do them without breaking game mechanics therefor it is legal. In the past I've focused on things that were well within game mechanics but bad for the game. Those things needed to be removed and Bort was able to fix them and make a more polished game because they were removed.

Lets see....

SSB was removed after we threatened the longest winning streak in GLB, won multiple golds ruining man peoples days.

The reroller script was removed and the whole training process changed because of it.

The MVP and HOF systems need work now. They can either fix it or I can show them the problem, there can be a public outcry from it and then it all eventually gets fixed. OR BORT can accept my freaking PM's and I can just tell him lol!

Yes, he doesnt get along well with others and noone else would have him.

I had a rQB nominated and I know that votes I got by and large were prob by agents who know me or been on teams with me - although that doesnt make my dot any better than anyone elses - but what it did do was make me sorta proud etc Thought/think this is a great idea and whoever wins it will have their detractors Im not unhappy that MITH has more friends than me (not now Ive seen my psychiatrist anyways !!
What I do think in all seriousness is that GLB needs to keep the existing user base "happy" AND attract more/new players AND get them to spend their money on the game so for me this is an excellent little "extra" and should be used as a base drom which to develop Maybe if there were stricter "rules" enforced it may detract from the fun part
So congrats to MITH and also to Ope for getting all of us a little bit more interested in the game - that HAS to be a positive thing

UM, you're a noob in this game and noone has ever even heard of you. Have you ever been part of anything impressive in this game? Like all those teams on ur profile are baddie teams owned by agents I never heard of. Was that a joke cause I didnt get it lawl. Bad is Bad bro. You should have stuck with checkers, nerd!
