Yeah... if I ever lost to a CPU team, I don't think I'd make a public statement about it. I would quietly hit the "log out" button and try and decide if it was even worth coming back to the game if I was that bad at it.

Maybe I would take up some Facebook game, because I hear those are really tough to lose at.

Much of the thread has nothing to do with sharing the losses to CPU teams over the most recent seasons, rather trying to prove or disprove something. Not sure what that is, but this is the elongation of much of the thread now... sorry to say.

Have any more examples of "CPU" teams betting "Human" teams, please feel free to share...

You are only facepalming because a Hood team lost to a CPU team a season or so ago with no set plan or anything. If you seriously thought CPU's were as good as you claim you would be using them.

I have used CPU rosters before, as has HCreek. And the list of human teams with winning records in their conference who lost to CPU teams (usually ones with no or few previous wins) is long.

Long, but notable?

I actually have fun coordinating for reset CPU rookie ball teams and watching the rage when they beat a human team... Yes, if even a half decent defensive game plan is installed by humans, they SHOULD prevail - but if scouted and game planned, a CPU team can surprise on offense.

On the other hand, I have a separate OAi just for playing a CPU opponent - I never wing it...

They have just the right human dots to be scary - a rush QB, a deep passer who boosted early, a returner and a couple of defensive dots

I really want to know how a CPU team determines what plays to call. I asked in the Q7A but it was deleted. This my first season playing league survivor, and the unpredictability of CPU teams is maddening.

There is a preset offense/defense AI they all use every time, that is set up to use a balanced approach, and include nearly all the plays. It is used every game.

It wasn't deleted. I delete the original question after Bort has quoted it and answered it to make reading the Q &A's easier.
