Why can't teams be based in certain regions and as a result have benefits to certain types of weather and negative to others.
For example being based in London or New England would result in your team having a bonus to playing in cold, rainy or wet conditions, while you would have a negative bonus to playing in hot conditions such as the ones in Florida for example.
As for coaches, haven't heard much about it in the past few seasons, would be an unnecessary addition to the game IMO.
Yes that would be one aspect of it that would be interesting. But in the name of balance it might be hard to do (I tried it once and its hard to come up with sensible balanced off sets though you could make arbitrary ones). For example being a cold weather team helps you at the end of the season...which includes the playoffs. Makes being Miami less appealing.
As for not necessary, its a game. None of it is necessary.... but as a game features its more knobs to turn, which is funnerer.

actually no it's not. When I go to my team contract page to send mass offers to everyone, there is no option to auto accept the ones coming to my guys.
edit - if there is I don't see it anywhere
not from mass offers but it's definitely there if you do it one by one

1) change color of advanced equipment
2) allow motion of WRs (for purposes of blocking)

No, you can't use this feature when you want to sent mass contract via your roster page.
You still need go to every player contract page and check that box.
Very annoying.

You are right, and I suggest it at page 2 or 3....

This feature was made to save our time, and I still have to click 55 times?
None sense man.

I don't know if its the same for Defense, but...
When creating an Offensive Package, the "Package Default Depth Chart Positions (Overwrites All Plays)" shouldn't overwrite all plays. Lets say there is one play in the package you want a different DC set up for. I think to the right of the play where you change the DC, that should overwrite the Package Default for that one play (or another plays you don't want to have the same DC as the majority of the package has).

blitzing CBs getting int% mvp gear... just seems silly.
would be nice if you could chose a preferred set of gear, or maybe base it upon the int - sack ratio... if a CB has 31 sacks and 0 ints, well maybe he doesn't need int%.
